Sadly, not if, but when I read Leonardo's post match comments, I know they'll be some shit about how we were a bit unlucky, but made a few good chances which on our day could have gone our way, and that we played with determination and pride til the end, and that it's not over because 'in football, you never know' and then Zanetti will say that 'we are calm' and that 'it is important to work in tranquility', and then some other fucking waste of space will say that we should 'move on, because there is still the 2nd leg to look forward to' and there are many games left in the league and that we believe that we are still competitive in three competitions.

So we play or best leftback in the centre for our 2 most important games this year and he gets red carded twice......matrix and ivan sitting on the bench, weird few days.

A wake up call that we must interfere in market and find replacements for 4-5 players.

What I just don't get is the HUGE drop in performance by some players...

Maicon, Cambiasso and Motta, for instance, excelled last year with a season to remember... Maicon and Cuchu were lauded as the best in their positions by pretty much everyone. And then, a year later they are destroying their reputations playing like this.

Chivu, Muntari, Pandev, Obi, etc, etc I don't expect much from so they can all go get shot in the woods, for all I care.
Zanetti, Deki and Matrix should retire and honored for services to the team.

But top class players like Cuchu and Maicon... I don't know what to say about their season.....

Although the first impression is to say that individual players were shit, and most of them certainly were, that Chivu is the biggest imbecile in football right now, and probably he is, I have to admit that Leo is the biggest factor here.

How weird life is, one week ago we were favorites to win the Scudetto and Schalke seemed a god-given gift for us, today we are witnessing humiliation after humiliation.

Leo did a great job prior to this week, but it seems this is the best he can do for now.
He was outclassed in almost all of the big games, we had lot of worrying signs about our play for months, yet nothing changed.

Our team should know better than any other that without balance and proper defending you can't win shit, no matter how good you attack.
I'm sorry, but it's mostly Leo's fault and the prove for that is that we lost the midfield battle in the derby and today, which led to the huge pressure on a uninspired, shaky and to an extent improvised defense.

The result is one of the worst period we faced in recent years.
Perhaps now will the management realize what they should have a year ago: it's time for reconstruction and to create a new team.

I'm sorry brothers, but it seems this day, five years after the Calciopoli was revealed and our rise began, it seems this day we witness the end of a cycle.
I really,really hope that the next cycle will bring us at least some of the joys and successes we had this last years.

I should be plain angry, but somehow I am not.
For two more weeks, although only in name, we remain the champions of the world. We can at least enjoy that.

Milito, Julio and Javier did ok comparing to the rest of the team. What fkn frustrates me is how did Leo decide to start with Chivu after the derby game?! This guy lacks the ABC of coaching.

Due to really poor defensive coaches
LVG and Leonardo - although LVG is a much much higher caliber coach than Leonardo.

Bayern is also rebuilding their defense, its almost a good thing we went out early to you guys so we could focus on getting our CL spot so we can retain our stars (Robben/Ribery vs. Sneijder/Eto) and get started on coach/team rebuilding already (Heckneyes has already given us his transfer list.)

One thing from this game - further proves that Neuer is just such a SOLID SOLID keeper, he rarely makes mistakes, rarely. Even though Schalke conceeded two those two were more credited to the geinus of your attacking triplet than Neuer.

So come June 1st - we are already signing - Manuel Neuer and Fabio Coentrao. What are your plans ?
