He could even have had 4 goals today , the two he just missed from his reaction he felt he should have scored. He maybe a limited striker but he is a great finisher especially in the air.

A great striker to have. Leagues are won on matches like this, and Pazzini is a consistent enough scorer in Serie A.

Will be interesting to see how he does in CL next season.

He was pretty good vs bremen in his only cl games for samp. If he gets chances he will take enough of them, its the supply that remains a question with our current midfield.

To me Pazzini would be a perfect sub striker, or at least not a sure starter. His finishing is simply elite level, but unless we get some serious reinforcements to our midfield, our starting strikers need to be more involved in our game than what Pazzini is.

Agreed, that's how I view him next year as well. He tends to disappear in matches in which we're struggling as he completely depends on good service to impact a match, but at least we know if he gets a chance, he'll probably put it away. In matches where we have possession but can't get the ball in the net, he's great to have. And that's more than you can say for Milito or Pandev, which is why he needs to start every match for the rest of the year. Next year, hopefully, we have another option that offers us something different.

He is probably limited as a box striker, but I really like him since he was still in Fiorentina. His movements disrupt the opponent back four. He scores goals with his head, knees, both legs. I think he could be the next top scorer if he plays with regularity.

Who has criticized him? The fact is Pazzini most of the time depends on the service of other players.

Whether you belive it is a fact or not, does not change the FACT that it IS criticism.

That is criticism. I am not saying that I disagree with anything you are saying, but can't you guys just enjoy the fact that he saved our asses again without even playing a full match???

Save those comments for when he has a bad match, the guy has a killer performance and we still see the same comments that he would receive after a shit game...I just don't understand.

Plus he is my boy, so back off! :p

I agree with most of the points here, that Pazzini is a striker who is very dependent on the service provided to him. But, IMO, he should be our starting striker next season instead of one coming off the bench. My argument would be, starting him from the beginning of the match will give him more time to make an impact, and if he doesn't click and we're drawing/losing, then sub someone who can create something out of nothing.

I know...I cried like a baby after Marley and Me.

Was the acting during the movie not bad enough, you actually had to wait for the doggie to go ass end up?
