Zlatan wasn't a team player either and he helped us win some years ago, I'm not saying Zarate is at the same level, but we need a player like him, who can dribble, who can excel at opening spaces, if not for himself, for the team, who is going to do that in our team? Muntari?

You cant be sure of things like that.

One thing that is certain is that we need some dribbling abitity/ speed, and we need it now.

Zarate might not be the best player ever, but he's definitely a first team player. If only he could adapt to being midfielder, Sneijder definitely would be able to play with him.

We will see as long as its not a obligation I can live with it since the risk factor is minimum. However I cant get over it that we could have done much better if things were taken seriously 2 months ago when the mercato started and more interesting options were available.

He will still cost us 20m total if do sign him, 4m loan is quite expensive if we decide to skip him after a year.

Its a great bit of business considering the situation we're in. If he fails we kick him the fuck out with a small loss. Wish we could bring in a quality starting CM from somewhere too though...

Well better than Palacios, and better than nothing. I'd prefer Lavezzi because he had a better last season but it's better than watching Luc being played out wide, or Pandev.

I know he's lost the form that made Lazio splurged out cash for him, but I'm (naively) confident that our group of veterans can sort this guy out. I guess when you can't get Megan Fox, even Jessica Simpson will do.

Edit: Jessica Simpson is the perfect analogy btw. Smoking hot in Dukes of Hazzard, but is fat now, just like Zarate.
