10 years of FIFI cannot believe the absolute madness I am reading on this forum today. Zarate is a magnificent young talent, and if he can take on players and beat them as well as he has done, and with Pazzini in the box who ghosts defenders and plays out of their line of sight just waiting for the ball to come anywhere near his vicinity it is going to be fucking epic.
I keep saying if we are playing a 4-3-1-2 our main strikers should ALWAYS be Zarate and Pazzini ( unless Pazzini hits dire form ). The only time Forlan should be on the pitch is if we are playing a 4-2-1-3 and even then I prefer Alvarez who will roam pretty much every where as opposed Forlan.

I agree that sometimes he gets selfish but he was always the star player in his team, now he is playing with a team full of stars and he can learn to play with the group, also do not forget the assist clause which was brilliant from our management.
With all respect to your opinion Forlan is much much better player than Alvarez for now. The comparison between him and Zarate depends on how the later can develop his team-play, though still Forlan is an excellent player and i do not know why so many people here underrate him!!

it's a prove Zarare owned every single our player. Look, first for Esteban who just LOOKING, and pass Maicon, also keep our Capitano just look at there.. and Samuel Lucio? our BEST CB they cannot blocked the shot after all ... He just need LUCK for aim the goal. Don't count about Motta who cover the other.

You gotta wonder what went wrong for him in Rome.
The most obvious answer if you ask me is that he bought into his own hype way too much. He was just magnificent in his first Serie A season and just fell of tremendously since. Especially his second season.
I believe that Rome is a tough city to play in, it's a bit likes Naples, people are passionate and there is not much stability around the two clubs. I may be wrong, FIF Italian members should know better but I actually believe the pressure is going to be smaller for Zarate in Milano.
And that guy has balls out there on the field which sometimes(and often) leads to overdribbling and selfishness but he is not afraid to take the matter in his own legs.
He has scored against the big three of Serie A and Roma! That shows you pretty much everything you need to know.
It was like ''big fish in the small pond'' situation for him with Lazio and he is now sharing the locker room with much better players and champions which could help change his mentality, work harder to not piss away that god given talent.

We are so lucky to get him in last minute, he is the Sanchez Robben Messi type of player that we desperately need in this team .
Lazio fans were angry about his selling, he was the reason why Olympico full of lazio fans, to watch his tiki taka.
