Someone should re-title this thread as it has absolutely nothing to do with Moneyball whatsoever. Football Manager does Inter would be far more appropriate.
Anyone know what type of budget we will have in the summer? My early prediction is we sell Wes for around €20 and use about €18 to sign the on loan players and maybe a young player. I would of course love 2 top forwards (one a wide player) and a startign CB. Will keep dreaming
Planning my first visit to Milano. watched us on nearly every visit to the UK. I refuse to go anywhere else other than La Curva Nord for my first home game. So my question is what blocks should I look for on the stadium map when trying to get tickets? Anyone been in there as a non Italian...
Maybe it is a time for everyone to take a reality check. We sre what we are, an average team with an average coach who has average players who will achieve average results. Until something changes in that chain of people then the chance to win titles again will be less than 50/50
Just shows how shockingly bad we were before this winning run, we have won 7 in 8 and are still miles off the pace in terms of scudetto. Left ourselves with far too much to do. Can scream and shout all we want about the players and management but I'm afraid this will be a lost season. I dont...
I watched Porto over 40 times in their treble season. When Guarin is used correctly he is superior to every midfielder we have not called Cambiasso or Sneijder. The trouble is he would not be a suitable as a direct replacement for Motta as they just aren't similar players.
The club has rarely committed to the investment in youth that we are currently seeing. The key to succeeding under FFP is producing your own players and investing in talented youth. If we are not seeing 2 or more first team players being produced each season we will have massive problems.
The only way I'm ok with this is if we sell Wes in the summer and then use all that money to bolster the defence and midfield. That however would also depend as to whether the coach\management believe Coutinho/Alvarez could fill the gap in creativity that would exist once Wes is sold. If we...
