Nope. He started playing as a center back, then moved to the wing. He's a defender (a very good one, imo) first. At youth level he's a good attacking player too, thanks to his great strength and good pace. He's very dangerous on high balls and scored some important headers this season.

He's good at obtanining free kicks, but Milito's skill in covering the ball is way better. Less physical, but with more quality and this helps him to create goal chances for his teammates too.
