maybe imo we would see Inter in Chelsea situation at the end of March if US-NATO-EU will sanction China based on abstain stance regarding Russia vs Ukraine war....

I highly doubt it. The world relies very heavily on China for a number of items. These Russia sanctions are hurting the wallets of people in NATO/EU, China would be significantly worse and cause incredible supply chain issues. The only way I can see sanctions on China is through direct intervention in the war, or through other action, such as invading Taiwan.

China has basically sanctioned Inter itself by not allowing investment via Zhangs.

While the on-field product is completely Inzaghi's fault, these guys truly are the worst. They took a team that could've been an italian power, dismantled it, then hired a coach LEVELS below the one they chased out. Nothing Beppe can do to make up for owners like this.

And this is just beginning my friend. Worse is yet to come with these poor clowns.

The worst thing in that I can't see a serious person who can by Inter, can somebody name one?

The problem isn't finding someone willing to buy Inter. The problem is finding someone willing to buy Inter at Zhang's price.

I dont think there's that much evidence for that statement, tbh. But, yes, if you were going to sell £10 for £5, you'd have a queue of people willing to buy it. Haggling and negotiating and agreeing on price is an intrinstic part of any asset of this scale.

Consider Juve are circa 800m euro market cap right now, I'd be interested to see how people perceive our relative value vs theirs?

Points of consideration
  1. Juve own their stadium
  2. Inter have in effect perpetual and fairly cheap tenancy rights to prime land in Milan
  3. Inter's squad is only about £25m less than Juve' according to transfermarkt
  4. Juve have a significantly higher wage bill than us
  5. They're carrying some pretty big liabilities in the form of Rabiot/Ramsey/even de Ligt etc
  6. They have the plusvalenza scandal hanging over their head still right now, weighing down their market cap (N.B. I would be a little cautious about using their sharae price from before the scandal - it was about the same time they did the share holder recapitalisation)
  7. Their primary sponsor is intrinsically linked to the club and in the event of a sale, a termination wouldnt be unreasonable
  8. Inter's matchday earning potential meets if not exceeds Juve's
  9. Our sponsorship agreements are starting to get better, but they expire in a year or so (or, many of them do) - this is both a pro and a con I suspect
  10. I'd wager the running cost for our club is lower - e.g. no B team

BC Partners.

Make Inter for sale with reasonable price will attract more investors. Chelsea can do that even they can attract 20 investors at once, why can't we?

Do you think that Investment company will love Inter and do everything to take us at top levels? Or they just start making money as the investment company should do?

There are two hurdles that pose a significant block for Inter being sold by the Chinese: (1) they do not want to sell; and (2) if they were to try and sell, their asking price would be far from “reasonable”’.

Our hopes that Suning will sell the club are about as remote as our hopes of realistically beating Milan to the Championship.

Inter is one of the biggest historic names in football. Finding a buyer is not a problem.
BC Partners were more then willing to last season before sunning pulled the plug.
You also just have to look at the amount of US investors buying Italian clubs to know there will be someone.

Historic names are irrelevant. Do you see people queuing up for Nottingham Forest?

If anything a historic name inflates the price for no reason.

Buying Atlanta and Roma for 100/200/etc mil is a completely different game to Inter.

Do you think Chelsea, City, Newcastle, PSG were bought because they were historic names?

There's a bit of difference between treble winner from 2010 and Scudetto winner from 2021 and Nottingham Forest which is a historic and successful club in the future. Inter is a historic club AND is at the relevant top levels. Nottingham Forest is nothing like that.

Atalanta was bought with 500m valuation (55% was sold) btw.

Nottingham forest haven't been relevant since the 1970's. Inter are still one of the top 20 brands in football.

Also Roma was bought for $700 mil. So not cheap but not the $1 billion Zhang reportedly wants either.

We all know epl clubs are more valuable because of the economic strength of the league.

No idea why Qatar chose PSG as the club buy. Seems to be shrouded in politics relating to the vote to get Qatar the 2022 wc.

If Roma is 700mil, Inter is definitely worth at least a billion.

Same argument, imho, for Atalanta for 500m.

PSG is conveniently located with Paris, of course.

It wasn't just Paris. There were politics involved as well.

But let's not get into that.

Going back to Inter's ownership, price is certainly an issue but imo the biggest issue is lack of progress for new Stadium. Let's be honest. A new stadium is the only reason for a serious investor to get involved, excluding oligarchs and sovereign funds who mostly care about money laundering and promoting their political agenda but those, for better or worse, don't seem interested in investing in Italy. New Stadium is key for any ownership change at Inter. Even Oaktree spokesperson highlighted how important a new stadium would be and Inter shouldn't be left behind.

If you know your Parisian real estate, you know why the Qataris are there.

I hope what I heard is related to a potential takeover in advanced talks and not simply yet another management blunder...
