The platform is all set for these 2 young stars to start what is a long and hopefully fruitful journey together. The issue isn't so much about whether these 2 can perform - this can be nurtured in time. The more important question to be asked is, who is going to favor them in the long run? Enduring partnerships in football are nice to see, however, the financial situation of today coupled with the fact the fickle attitude that is Inter management's hallmark will come together to ensure that Adriano & Martins will probably never be partners together at Inter for too much longer.

Keeping my fingers crossed, i hope these 2 will be able to work off each other for the better good of Inter in the seasons to come. However, pragmatism will demand that your better wishes should remain as that - fantasies generated by an intense desire to see your favorite players together.

Ciao,
Tim

hmm, vieri and recoba are still at inter to take the heat off these two young stars...

it will take another three years for this duo to reach their best , and with recoba and vieri for their support... they have become the luckiest young strikers in the world... they can kick ass even starting from now...

I think Recoba's chances to play are very slim... and Vieri will play, but I think both Adriano and Martins will score more goals than him this year.

with 38 games in serie a, plus many games in CL and Copa....
adriano and martins can go mad, to take the burden of the team in their young soldier at this stage..

recoba and vieri will play many games, and having the two in the team will give adriano and martins ease ..... they know their load is getting bigger but there's always this experienced and great striker named vieri who can kick ass....

mancini doesnt talk much about recoba, i think this is the moment that recoba is not really a critital figure in the team, the team can do well without him...

it's up to recoba to make points in the games he is gonna be given the chances... He will play considerable amount of games..

Vieri and recoba will probably stay at inter for another two seasons, perhaps until they are retired...

I'm pretty sure vieri may play almost the same amount of martins...
martins and adriano will only be played when they're mentally and phisically healthy...

I'm doubting recoba though, he has to get through his obstacles..

I remember Mancini saying: "This will be Recoba´s season" with such certainty that I was franky quite shocked. ;)
