Sorry for the delays, I will count the score tonight. I don't think I can finish counting in one night though. Hopefully the results will be published tomorrow. And I'm abusing my power to insert my vote even after the deadline is over. Here is my votes!

Julio Cesar did well when he was used as a starter at the beginning of the season. But, to quote Jimmy, he was a "time bomb" waiting to explode and exploded he did, against Fiorentina. Toldo took over and rarely disappointed.

02) Defender of the season

1. Walter Samuel
2. Javier Zanetti
3. Marco Materazzi

Considering that it was his first season in Inter, Walter Samuel did very well in reinforcing our leaking defence. Javier Zanetti is as consistent as always though he was injured for months for the first time in many years. Materazzi's performance had been erratic; highlights are sealing off deadly marksmen Toni & Huntelaar in San Siro but also the incredible own goal when we played Empoli away.

03) Midfielder of the season

1. Esteban Cambiasso
2. Luis Figo
3. Dejan Stankovic

Although he was not as good as he was last season, Cambiasso still did well enough for me to retain this award. He managed to add scoring to his game this season. Figo has been our most potent weapon from midfield but he disappeared after his injury at the beginning of the year.

04) Striker of the season

3. Martins

Ridiculously disappointing season for our strikers barring Julio Cruz. Recoba's performance is ridiculously ineffective too.

Tough choice here. No player stood out this season.

06) Under-achiever of the season

1. Martins
2. Adriano
3. Cordoba

A lot has been said about Adriano's drop of form this season but if anything, Martins has disappointed more. Prior to this season, he showed improvement that he is more than just a speedy striker but all that qualities are none to be seen this season. His goal-to-minute ratio dropped a lot too. Cordoba is nowhere near the level of the feared defender we are used to see for the past 4 years.

07) Worst player of the season

1. Recoba
2. Martins
3. Wome

Controversial choices but I believe Recoba has been utter crap this season. He was given the chances by Mancini but failed to grab them, most notably the clashed with Villarreal.

08) Most improved player of the season

1. Julio Cruz
2. Burdisso
3. Materazzi

No surprise here, Cruz's goal-to-minute ratio this season is ridiculously good. Burdisso is not disturbed by family problems and has been a great #5 defender to have.

09) Surprise player of the season

1. Julio Cruz
2. Martins
3. Luis Figo

Never in my life I thought that Cruz could outscore Adriano & Martins. As for Oba himself, I am shocked at the apalling level of performances he conjured throughout the whole season. I wrote off Luis Figo as a bad transfer but how wrong was I!

10) Players you would like to see more

1. Burdisso
2. Pizarro
3. Toldo

I want Burdisso to be the 2nd choice defender for every position next season. Pizarro will get his regular chances after Veron is gone and Toldo proved that he is heads above shoulders better than Julio Cesar.

Veron is gone so I'm delighted here. I want to see less of Materazzi because I wanna see more of Burdisso, basically. Same for Julio Cesar.

First 2 was an easy choice. The 3rd was tough, between Julio Cesar, Solari & Pizarro. In the end, I went for Solari, who shone as the season headed to a close.

Very controversial but I think the brilliant Brazillian mercury Cesar should get the award despite setting our left wing on fire since he joined Mancini on the bed...Inter on the field. Paolo Orlandini was ridiculously redundant.

Can't vote much here since I don't like some of the deals we made on players sold.

15) Worst outgoing transfer

3. Gamarra

I still can't forgive the Mancini - Veron duo for ousting Emre out of Inter. (Trio, if you add Deki) Karagounis was a very useful player who can play in 3 midfield positions and he never complains when he was on the bench. As for Carlos Gamarra, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that he's miles better than Miha and perhaps, Matrix.

16) Best moment of the season

1. Adriano's winner vs Milan
2. J.Zanetti lifting the Coppa Italia
3. Reggina - Inter 0-4

Easy as pie. The 3rd choice might seem weird but it's because the win totally defy my expectation. I expected us to choke after a great moment (Derby win) but we went on to demolish a side that is very tough to beat on their ground.

17) Worst moment of the season

2. Inter - Juventus 1-2
3. Villarreal - Inter 1-0

The match in Florence was the beginning of the 3 match disaster that ruined our Serie A season after a run of 11 victories & 1 draw.

2. Cambiasso vs Roma in Coppa Italia final in San Siro
3. Martins vs Shakhtar Donetsk in the Doughnut Stadium P)

Again, the 3rd choice is a weird one but it was after a great combination play between Adriano & Martins. I thought it was the start of a great striker duo, I thought wrong.
