I guess I was wrong and he didn't quit but was fired. I don't get why we fired him though? There's no cost saving because we paying him in full, so why get rid of him?
Conte left and still got a 60% of his salary.

But what exactly was his job? He was the club-players liaison right? As far as I know we're like the only club who had this position, many other extremely successful clubs don't.

And what was there to liaison when money was plenty, we were winning and everyone was getting paid? It's now that we need a liaison and he was among the first to be let go.

I get he's very influential, but he is on the club payroll right? He represent the club's interests right? Why can't the club use his influence in our favour? Unless he's deliberately turned his influence against the club there's no reason to let him go, and still pay him in full.

Think like this, we have had a self proclaimed king of Milan who asked to leave the moment he got the offer, then we have had an ex legend whose influence is detrimental to the club. At the same time, that ex-Juve executive has chosen to stay and fight, that Argentine forward, who couldn't wait to fuck off, has rejected offers and is renewing. How does all of this make sense to you?

You're mixing up stuff and then ask questions based on bad assumptions.

Lukaku wanted to go to Chelsea. That's a given and confirmed by all parties.

Oriali DID NOT want to leave Inter. He was fired. He was not detrimental to the club, the opposite in fact. He was simply not appreciated by the ownership.

Marotta has decided to respect a contract, there's nothing odd about this. And he's not a Juventino, he just worked there and possibly has some taints during his tenure there, but he's no Moggi and I don't see why people pretend he's like the next coming of Giraudo. Marotta is there doing the bidding of Suning.

Lautaro did not want to leave Inter at this point. This is completely baseless.

Does it make sense now?
