Hello , I would like to create an icon guys about Inter and its history , i mean these years when i was a juve merda (how wrong i was) , i don't really remember quite well but i would like you guys to give me glimpses or short stories about our great Inter under Gigi Simone and what was our lineup including Djorkaeff , Ronnie , Cforza , Morierio , Zamorano etc....

I used to remeber that i was on my toes at Juve - Inter Match while i was cheering for the scum Juve . I recall that Inter was playing much much better , their players were godamn the best of italia and at this match , i wanted it to end as fast as possible as Inter were going to cut Juve into shreds but it Ended 0-0 . Let's make a discussion regarding Inter at the past ...what do you think guys?? for fans like me whose nerazzurri life has just started 4 years ago :proud:

Yeah man , How wrong i was !!!

Actually i wasn't into soccer as i am now , i mean info about players , clubs , watching serie a etc...

My love for juve was because of Platini , Baggio and Alex del piero other than that NOOO !! , i actually hated the way they play , the average players they had , the refree scandals . then I found myself adoring inter players , surfing the site alot esepcially after the appointment of Hector Cuper . Don't know why , then it became a passion for me that i won't be ever leave till i die . what's strange is that most of you guys are like me in the Die-Hard thing , actually all Inter supporters .....and I Loooooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeee Inter

so will you gimme some info about that past seasons ??

The 1990s was basically a very turbulent period for Inter. We had some highs, but it was mostly a decade of downers.

The 1990s will be marked by Moratti's insane spending that will see some of the world's best players don the Neroazzurro jersey. Inter managed to capture the UEFA Cup 3 times during that season - in 1990/1991, 1993/1994 and 1997/1998. Although that seems to be a good record, consider that in 1993/1994, Inter finished just 1 point off the relegation zone, whilst Milan went on to finish the season as champions. Inter thus holds the official UEFA record of a team who has won a European trophy with the poorest domestic record.

The 1990s will also see Inter mount a couple of championship challenges that would eventually fail. Thus, Inter lose their proud record of winning 1 scudetto every decade since their first in 1910.

In a nutshell, Inter's 1990s was basically a decade full of pain for her fans, marked by occassional moments of glory. Several legends of Inter parted ways or retired, and they include Ferri, Zenga and Bergomi.

Well, i don't know what else to say about Inter in the 1990s - if you have a particular moment you want clarification on, just ask. :)

Ciao,
Tim

Was the relegation year the one of mighty coach Orrico??

You see, Pellegrini, Inter former president, decided to gamble on a coach who didn't have any experience in Serie A, Corrado Orrico.

Results were catastrophic!

Thats when I really became a fan of Inter. That UEFA Cup winning side was so awesome. Its a shame that they didn't also do the double or even the treble.

Nope, it was with Osvaldo Bagnoli, albeit for only half the season. He had a decent record until Inter hired Giampiero Marini. Of the 12 games coached by Marini, he lost 8 of them. =/

Yeah, Inter finished just a point off the relegation zone. It's incredible when you think about it. Just how bad could Inter get? And well, it was a miracle Inter won the UEFA Cup too.
