It's still their job and they should be paid accordingly what their market rate is. Players like Bastoni, Barella and Lautaro are severally underpaid as we speak.

I mean it's respectable if they accept wage cuts but if they don't, I'm not blaming any of them. I understand also that it's tough situation in the football world and some deferred payments should be accepted at least. Permanent wage cut is a different thing though.

Why the fuck is Inter the only club who pays full salary and now talk about paying bonuses? Is Moratti back at reign?

It's not that we can't find one, it's more of a case of not finding one that adequately compensates us. In the past we have been criminally underpaid in terms of sponsorship. This time that should not happen.

Figures. After getting underpaid by Pirelli for so many years, we finally decide to chase the money and we do it during a global pandemic. We'll probably wind up being sponsored by an adult diaper company for half the money Pirelli was paying us.

I think Inter target next season is reduce wage bill to under 100 million.

Considering 149 million per year is unachievable with empty stadium.

I have an idea, we need sell some key players and replace them with Atalanta players. Considering Atalanta player wages so low.

In the end, this will be Marotta job to maintain wage with income.

How the fuck is Radu payed more then Gosens. Football world is crazy and super league would have made this shit show even worse.

He plays at Inter. You get paid at Inter, that's just the way it is.

The key word here is "market rate". The market has been completely disrupted by COVID. Pre-COVID and post-COVID markets are not the same. Just look at the stands, there is no income from the gates anymore.
Any of these players that don't agree with wage cuts can certainly test the market, but I'll wager a guess that they won't like what they find.
This is happening to a lot of sectors that have been disproportionately affected by COVID, such as hospitality, travel, and retail. However, you also saw last year that a lot of companies had their senior management and high earners "volunteer" to take wage cuts or bonus cuts to allow the retention of lower paid staff. I sincerely hope that a lot of the highest earners on the team take that approach and make some sacrifices for their lower paid teammates and staff.

Sky - Inter need to cut 30M. Bastoni and Lautaro are most wanted players.

If I had to sacrifice one of Bastoni, de Vrij, Skriniar, Barella, Brozovic, Hakimi, Lukaku or El toro then it would probably be Brozovic or de Vrij.

I’d rather not sacrifice de Vrij. The core of our defence.

He will be the easiest to replace, that's why he is my suggestion. Even a David Luiz would do good there, have trust in Conte.

He would definitely not be the easiest to replace out of the three, not even close.

I think easiest to replace would be Brozo and Lautaro. But with selling Lautaro, i think no one else will have to go. Its just who comes in for him. Depay, who is probably going to Barca?
Id actually love to have Berardi.

Yeah. This seems to be the magic number. Apparently Inter would save up to 30m if the players accepted Zhang request to give up two months wages. I can't see it happening after the players being unpaid for months. Deferred payments would be easier to accept.

If it were up to me i would sacrifice one of the forwards but i fear it's going to be one of the cbs.

brozovic, coupled with offloading unwanted players who've been identified.

The wages of the following players totals up nicely to 30m
Kolarov
Young
Vecino
Pinamonti
D'Ambrosio
Ranocchia
Radu

Assuming we get some cash for selling Vecino, Pinamonti and/or Radu, we could offer Ranocchia and D'Ambrosio reduced wage contracts. And replace the rest we can replace with kids like Piroli or Dimarco. I would prefer this than sell one of our starting CBs.

Yep, same. And if we do need to sell starters, Perisic should be first out the door, Brozovic after IMHO. Even if only small amounts of fees, it'd still be largely plusvalenza, and Perisic at least is on a pretty heavy contract for what he offers the team.

A 10% cut in salary for our players it not at all unreasonable IMHO, and would also go a long way for us

And all of them need to be replaced. Maybe not Vecino.

That's the big problem. All well and good getting rid of these players but we need replacements. Our 3 back up centre backs are in that list.
I think lautaro might end up getting sold. Who knows, but I'm expecting at least one big departure.
I hope Ausilio and Co are working hard on sales already of our trash
