Let's fire ET get a Arab sheikh make him spend 100m€ in the next mercato and wave UCL goodbye for the next 10 years due to a UEFA intervention.

:challenge:

people should be pleased then!I'm mean we finally get to spend right?!:eek:blivious:

because that's exactly what I said...

so it's either between blind faith in Thorir or a UEFA ban with a sheikh in charge? what, there are no other options?

The club figured renovating the Meazza step by step is cheaper than building a new stadium in the city of Milano. 300mil jus for the property in area Rho...
And you can do only as much in a fu year.
This years revenue is based on the fact that we didn't participate in Uefa competitions last season..He cut costs and get us better sponsorship deals. We're back in EL...we will have a predicted 50Mil loss next season...half less than this one.

Anything else?!

and what do we get from investing in the meazza? does this increase our revenue? also 300 mil for a piece of land? that is bullshit , i can't think of a single piece of land worth 300 millions, you can fucking buy islandS with 300 milion .

and on what are based these predicted 50 million losses? we have been selling a shit ton of players, we don't have potential players to sell (except extra young players) , we will have to pay for the players we loaned.. and we have not secured european qualifications

If you can do more than watch games at the stadium yes you can raise revenue.
300 mil is not bs.The city wanted that number from us and Bbilan for Area Expo in Rho. We told them to fuck off not sure about bbilan.
However Fassone said that we might renovate the Meazza with or without Bbilan or maybe even build a new stadium...they need to think about what is more advantageous and they will make a decision after the winter break
This season counts as fiscal year 2015...we are the in EL so we get more money.

Do your homework m8!

I'm not following ET blindly I just look at facts and I see he doesn't rush things and he is working out a plan how to make more money for Inter so we don't have to rely on sugar daddy's anymore...people should appreciate that
He might fail yes but I can see he has a plan... MM didn't have one after the treble or at least the right one ...he admitted it and sold the club.

Only thing I don't like about ET is how he trusts WM so much... and we play like shit atm.

Hmm.

I like the direction Thohir is trying to take us off the pitch with all the marketing and stuff. But I'm hesitant as to whether it will actually work, and the lack of anything on the stadium front (and the investment of money into a stadium we own, no less) and the increase in losses this years is starting make me a bit skeptical.

Not a fan of his ideas on the pitch at all. Sticking with Mazzarri, the EPL fetish...meh.

(Although, I'm not sure why Thohir's performance affects MM's legacy at all)

I'm not going to say anything on Thohir; afterall this is supposedly Moratti's legacy.
Some people chose to see the bad more than the good, and this article portrays him as such. And that's ok. I see, and remember Moratti as the passionate owner who spent a lot, cared a lot, and brought here the best players in the history of the game.
There is no good without bad, or 'perfection' without flaws however, and the points you raise are all valid, but one thing I'll never do, is judge, or blame this icon of Inter. He, and his father (the family thus) made Inter. Without them, it's never going to be the same.
I'm only thankful, as a fan, for what he's done. Though it's not hard to see and understand his flaws, I'm no accountant, no lawyer, no business man. I'm just a longtime, passionate, Inter fan. And to me, as an Inter fan, Moratti is the hero, not the ridiculous villain some choose to portray for this reason or another.

Because he cant afford to invest in a stadium. You need to be at least financially stable, and then borrow the money, to build a new stadium. If you're paying it off over 25 years you're probably paying like 20 million a year in loan repayments anyway. We need to show glimmers of performance boosts before any bank will give us that loan, because right now our matchday revenues are dropping likes flies.

he is just broke, you are just sugarcoating it.

Imagine what our financial state will be when we will have to actually pay for the players we have. I sincerely have no idea how we lost 100m

ok then investing in anything else?

what?

I dont get why you're so desperate to slag Thohir off. Its not like you're a Moratti fanboy or anything even.. It's just irrational. Welcome to having a president, not a fan, tbh.

BS. You dont even dare to call him a broke Moratti while there isnt anyone with his surname in the club hierarchy.

As discussed in the Thohir thread, he's actually completely revolutionised the way the team works from a management perspective.

Just because your personal expectation is that any chairman comes in and spends a shitload of money is the only thing that matters, doesn't mean its correct. He's already shown a shitload of business intelligence over Moratti, and I'd be willing to bet you'll see other dominos fall in to line soon.

I think i showed u that his business intellegence wasn't that good, or good at all.

starting from the jersey sales. the only think i like so far is taking risks on mvila dodo osvaldo type of players
