Realistically I think Ruiz or Aouar would only happen in summer 2023 when they’re deee agents. Or maybe if they refuse to sign an extension we could pick them up on some sort of deal this summer befor their clubs lose them for nothing. I think Ruiz is more realistic for Inter because his profile is lower, Aouar has some hype that would attract premier league clubs.

I disagree. Out of the two, Aouar is definitely the more realistic one. Hype for him has totally died down and he stayed at Lyon even though he was reportedly available on loan with option last summer. Same story in January. Not a single rumour about him. If Inter really want him, they can easily get him. I doubt he would cost more than 20m.

On the other hand, Ruiz is still highly rated in Spain and he's often linked with La Liga top clubs. Even if he stays at Napoli till 2023 and becomes available on a free (no chance De Laurentiis sells him to rival) competition is going to be heavy.

Totally agree. Pinamonti (~20million) should be a save bet, but who else could we ship the other way? Pirola? Radu? Satriano?

If we can include some of those, then the deal will be great. And let us be honest, no one of our current youth player will have a real shot for our team. It is amazing that Di Marco worked his way to our bench. The only youth player I still haven't given up - especially with Cabral joining Fiorentina - is Esposito. So I hope that he will not be included in some transfers.

That’s fair, Aouar does seem like he’s stalled out a bit. Even though I’m a fan he’s a weird player, he’s a CM but he almost dribbles like a winger and he’s short. I personally think Ruiz would be a much better fit for us, Inzaghi’s football fits him like a glove.

So our winter mercato is over. We brought one good player who is injured and cant help us imediately. So he could turn fantastic or he could be injury prone flop like Correa. Plus we got another grandpa in attack. We got rid of Sensi and now we have Vecino and Gags as alternatives to our starters. I'm not satisfied with this mercato at all cause our enemy did much better job. But thank that to Sunning again, if there's no Marotta we would only bring Caicedo. Meh.. We should've bring decent midfielder, depending on our starting trio is a big risk.

Our transfer is over, but 1 transfer make our LWB department being one of the best in the world like Real Madrid or Manchester City.
On form Perisic + Gosens is fucking huge. Just like we had two world class players in same position.

This is huge improvement, maybe we only got chance this season to watching this. No more Lazaro or Dalbert
Next season our GK department is huge too, Handanovic + Onana just like PSG had Donnarumma and Navas.

From last two season, i just feel our Ranocchia - De Vrij are good for Starting and backup . Hakimi - Darmian too.
Other department is meh, especially our midfield. Lucky we had Sanchez . Lautaro-Sanchez is very good.

Next season ranking starting - backup hopefully.

Beppe won't ever let DeVrij calibre of a player leave for free. We have good relations with Raiola unlike Milan. We're gonna do a sale on our terms so that Raiola & Stefan will be happy too.

That's not the point, I said Handanovic + Onana is significant improvement from Handanovic + Radu.

We had two great GK next season just like PSG have Navas and Donnarumma.

Perisic will be gone. There is no logic to keep two expensive players on one position when we need reinforcement in other departments and our financial power is shit.
De Vrij will be sold and Bremer comes in. Luis Felipe for free to have 4 good CB to rotate. Di Marco or even Darmian could play that LCB as emergency. If not Vanheusden (he needs palying time) one or Rano or Daumbo as 5th or 6th in packing order for CB department. Make an auction and who accept the lower salary stays. The other can fuck off!

A straight swap between De Vrij and Bremer would weaken our team significantly, if they plan to sell De Vrij we need atleast two replecmants. One could be Bremer and the other one maybe Ginter.

You never want to overload in the winter, fantastic mercato in my eyes. Safety up top and an absolute phenomenal signing in Gosens. We have depth in Midfield, I don't think anyone can be mad with Vidal/Hakan/Brozovic in midfield for CL and Serie A is sorted as Barella can play there, Gagliardini/Vecino do a lot more than people notice. Not saying we do not need a new midfielder we do, you have to realise though that if you get "class" who are you dropping? Hakan? Brozo? Barella? You can't turn around to Fratessi and say, yo mate you can play against Liverpool then sit on the bench rest of season and come on for 10 minutes here and there (or any midfielder you would have liked to have seen come in).

For a winter Mercato if it is over, I am giving us B+

I dont want to be misunderstod, because im really happy about Gosens. But i really dont think we have made a good mercato, if you account what kind of needs we have. Its not on the left wing we have a problem, and Gosens signing we could have made in the summer. We really dont have any central midfields options that are good. Barella is out against Liverpool, and what if Brozovic gets injured. And now Sensi is gone.

Its really weird, and its hard to think about the reasonings Inzaghi and the leadership has made.

For me the mercato, is fail.

Maybe Ruiz would been impossible. But if he will not sign a new contract, a deal may can be struck, and De Laurentiis always wants to make money.

Loan for 10 million and buy option of 30 plus 5 extra bonuses and maybe he would got intrigued. Its Napolis last chance to get some good money for him. In the summer they barely will get 20-25 m for him.

Well that example would not work. Other examples would not work as well.
There is a reason why many january transfer players turns out to be bad. You either pay a lot of money or you get players who have potential to suck in the team for many years.
Or you get players who want playing time .... what they don't get at Inter tbh.

Even Fratessi. I am ok with him comming in the summer. He is not that good as it sound. He has good offensive output and a lot of potential. But defensively I would trust Gagliardini more. I can see him coming here mid season destructing his confidence by playing Gagliardini instead of him all the time.
