Gazzetta have a detailed article about Inter's plans over contracts renewals:

-Brozovic: There's a will from both sides to continue together. They didn't discuss figures yesterday but Inter are expected to offer 5.5m net plus bonuses while Brozovic demands are rumoured to be around 6m. The distance isn't that big and the parties are expected to talk again soon as Inter don't want to get into an auction.

-Dimarco: There are already discussions between the parties and the agreement is close for an extension till 2026 for around 2m net per season

-De Vrij: A sale looks more like likely than a renewal at this stage, also because of his age

-Skriniar: Inter's intention is to offer him an extension till 2026 and the talks are expected to start in the first months of 2022

-Alexis Sanchez: He has a contract till 2023 but Inter have a clause to terminate his contract one year earlier for around 4.5m

-Handanovic: Inter's intention is to extend his contract for one more season by offering him a Buffon-like role but with reduced wages

Skeptical of this because it sounds competent and well thought out.

Marotta will definitely look to devour De Vrij for cash. Which is why he cannot afford to let Brozovic go.

There's no one else left to sell. Barella and Bastoni aren't leaving, Skriniar doesn't want to leave and Lautaro just renewed. De Vrij is the only one who can bring us a 30+ million transfer sum. It's a shame, I'd like to see De Vrij stay.

Nah, too slow and doesn't have a commanding presence. Replacing him will be a chore though.
Your central center back doesn't need to have pace. You need your wide CBs to be able to keep up with teams who attack with wide forwards and wingers.

So if we sell De Vrij is the plan to move Skriniar central and buy someone like Bremer or Ginter?

Having watched Hummel's fuck ups for years, we def need a central CB with some sort of pace. Skrinair and Bosstoni arent especially quick to make up for the aging DeFry's snails pace making the problem of playing a high line ever more prevalent. If we had an Upamecano or Koulibaly either side of DeFry we would be aight. Just imagine this team against Gnabry and Coman

I have the feeling that Marotta might sell SDV in January. Conte is not the most patient coach and I'm sure that he'll push hard for transfers in first opportunity. Tottenham usually do not like to spend too much, but they will try to satisfy him in some extent, so if they offer something like 40mln for De Vrij in January, I can see Marotta accepting it. Our target for the season is top 4 finish anyway, so we can afford that sacrifice.
This will definitely hurt our champion ambitions, but nobody obviously cares .

One of the best, if not the best post-Treble signing. One more great piece we might lose. The fact Raiola is his agent and he kept him quiet for all this time says a lot.

Also looking at Matias Arezo in Uruguay according to GDS. This trip has produced more names than Branca’s Brazilian trips ever did.

So the rumours about these Alvarez guys come out the day it's reported Ricky Alvarez is going to retire at the end of the season. It almost feels like fate. :D

I would buy both of Alvarez. The full name of Uruguayan is Agustin Alvarez Martinez, so he will be backup for Julian Alvarez and Lautaro Martinez.
