Good point, however if he was 'so good' wouldnt they have tried to resign him for another year?

I think I mentioned this elsewhere. Potenza went to Mallorca because Cuper, shockingly, decided to send a highly-rated youngster, Ramis, to some Segunda league team to get experience.

And Mallorca are a cheap club, so why pay about $2M for Potenza when they can get Ramis for free and who he is a native of Mallorca too I think.

I think that Roma will only sell one player between De Rossi and Mancini this year so it all depends on what player will receive Capello once he becomes the Real Madrid manager. If Emerson joins him then De Rossi will stay in Rome so Mancini will receive the green light.

Hmm, I don't see them buying either.

De Rossi is a Romanista, and unless he is crucified for the bonehead elbow, he won't leave.

As for Mancini, Real have Cicinho, who can play as a RW/RM, and they still have Baptista who can play on the left. So, I don't think it makes sense to get Mancini for them.

I dont think Potenza is all his cracked up to be. He had talent but Parma, nor Chievo or Mallorca were fighting to get his signature back...disappointing.

I do not think that Real is interested in Mancini. I think that they will buy Emerson (probable) or De Rossi (as you said less probable) if Capello is their next manager.

If they buy Emerson we should be able to get Mancini while in the remote case that they buy De Rossi I do not think Roma will sell Mancini.

However as you said it's unlikely that De Rossi will leave Roma so I am including too many IF in my posts lately :D

But Fiorentina, a possible CL entrant, was? :D Anyway it's nothing new with Inter giving up on young players. It's happened before and it'll happen again. Saviours (what's your name dude?) mirrors my thoughts on this.
