DiMarco probably got loaned out, because it became evident that we won't be able to offload Perisic and everyone was optimistic that he would do much better than he does and Young had a suprisingly good prior season. In hindsight a bad decision, but at the time it made complete sense.

Would love to see Rabiot starting, the guy is absolute trash.

Our advantage in this game is Juve's recent mentality. They won the first leg, so they could underestimate this one. If we can stay focused for full 90min, we'll manage to win the match.

trivia from juve's site:

In all eight occasions in which Juventus have won the first leg of the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia, they have then reached the final. Twice previously it has happened against Inter, in 1983 and most recently in 2016.

In the last six matches in all competitions between Juventus and Inter at the Allianz Stadium, the Nerazzurri have not scored a single goal, conceding nine in total, with Inter's last away goal in the fixture dating back to January 2015. In fact, the six consecutive away games without a goal for Inter against Juventus is a record negative streak for the Nerazzurri.

Great stuff, Inter :yao:

Saying that Inzaghi accomplished more than Conte is wrong, because Lazio have been behind us last season and still are this season. Saying that Pioli accomplished more with less ressources is Borderline wrong. Did you see how much AC Milan spent during the last five seasons?

I won't even start discussing if we have a better squad than Juventus, as it's too obvious. Also it's too obvious why Conte opted for experience rather than fresh blood, which ist certainly not because he likes to run a retirement home.

Ah, one hell of a contradiction. When comparing us to lazio, you strictly use standings to prove your point, but when it comes to us and Milan, you are asking how much Milan has spent in the past 5 seasons?

Fact is Lazio qualified to the top 16 on their first try and Milan is first ahead of us as of now. All conte has done in this place is manage to be 4th in CL table. Being second in Serie a means that we were first loser.

Maybe the best thing is to skip watching this game and just see the result. It's just too stressful..If we win great and gonna watch rerun,if we lose I'll be at least glad that I didnt need to suffer watching another mafia celebration and our humiliation. We couldnt score 3 goals to the injury/suspension plagued Fiore so how to expect to beat Rube in their corrupt nest with their almost perfect starting eleven.

Grass is greener on the other side at its best.

Just swap the position, if Inter proceed to knockout in CL and won’t play CL next season, will you be happy? (like Lazio)
Or if Inter haven’t played CL for a decade, even up to now, and now two points ahead of 2nd place only, will you guys statisfy? (like Milan)

Our situation is obviously the best among the three, nothing to argue here. We are having a strong core, aren’t riding luck (actually the opposite) and cheating pens to create chances. We are actually progressing, if you remember how we were totally dominated over 180’ last season, now we dominated them entirely and lost last match due to individual mistakes. I know, that’s a rookie at their helm but much stronger squad than theirs last year (+Kulu, Chiesa, McKennie, Morata).

And that's why i always laugh when some members bash Serie A minnows for their record against Juve. Look yourself in the mirror before criticising others.

Want to see courageous effort without brainfarts, there is still a chance to progress as the last 2 h2h have been mostly dictated by us.

Darmian and Hakimi on the wings, should have done it since the start of January not experimenting with Young and Perisic every other weekend.

I havent check who's the referee I bet the league will put another Rube puppet in place.

If Gagliardini (nothing against him) starts over Eriksen in this must win game, than I don’t see Inter winning.

To me, the attitude is more important than if we qualifie or not, but its alot of dependet on conte linup and his attitude to the game.
We need to open with perisic, he score last game and seems he gain some confidence and overall, i will prefer all, only not young, eventually i think we win this and bury this fuckers!

If Brozovic is on his game, we should win. In the 2-0 win he was instrumental, but in the first leg he was pressed, and took a while to shake it off and find space.

This might be the main reason why Conte will put Eriksen in from start. Either releasing Brozo from the pressure from start or just giving us another option to get the ball out-front until Brozo wears his tracker off.

Whatever the idea I like it.

Opening with Perisic is fine, if, we were playing a different formation, asking Perisic to defend is begging for us to concede against Juve, if it was a back 4 with Darmian behind Perisic who could focus on just pressuring and attacking fine, but that’s not how Conte plays.

We have a team that can play multiple formations 4-3-3, 4-2-1-3, 4-3-1-2, 4-4-2, but we see the same thing week in, week out.

Yeah, Eriksen giving an extra option as a regista while Brozo is being man-marked is a good idea if executed correctly. As Uni said, if this goes well then this starting midfield might become a good option for the rest of the season.

100% all this goes to shit when we see Bobby Gagsy start at 7:45pm tonight.

I would start Gagliardini, Vecino, and an injured Vidal in the midfield. We need the grinta.

I never like when Eriksen play together with Broz. Eriksen in Inter plays more deeper and go down more to get the ball. I think it overlaps with Broz' role and leave too much space in the final third. But I do not want to see Gags starting either. its a tough choice.

Updates from Juventus journalists are Pirlo is expected to start with Danilo-Cuadrado on the right and Sandro-Bernardeschi on the left. Demiral and Chiellini are also fighting for one spot next to De Ligt.
