3 seasons is a bit short considering he's only 18 though. would have preferred balo style first refusal.

I'd prefer buyback clause if he blows up. We don't want first refusal because we can still get outbid. I think that's actualy a good deal. We should have a better idea in 3 years if he's going to be someone who can help our squad.

The buy back is nice but as we've seen with Samp/Duncan it can be maniupulated as we have no material rights to the player anymore.

Either way, though, the 7m with respect to FFP will sort out all our transfers this window so far. and then some

I dont know. It's not clear and its not been mentioned in the media, but one can IMAGINE the situation where we have to exercise our option as soon as they exercise theirs.

I sincerely hope this isnt the case, and rather, we can exercise our option at any point for 2 years after the player moved on loan...

JKust remember, possession is 9 /10ths the law! And we have very little control over players we dont own.

We'll have to wait for Genoa's summer plans (squad situation, possible EL qualification, etc..) to see if they'll loan him out to another Serie A or B club for playing time.

exactly, i bet fif would go nuts if we sold slavkovski for 7 m, its not like we can't get him back if he blows up at 21. and if hed oesn't blow up till then i doubt fif will want him, and to be fair, we need those 7m.

if he gets the minutes we're the winners here imo... they pay us to raise him, if he is good we will get him back for sure... but just the italian mentality "playing old [experienced] players over young talented ones" doesnt give me any hope...

we did wrong with prato, DC would have been much better choice, or some midtable serie b team.
