10 years of FIFBut on the other hand, how much really good wide defenders are out there? Nearly every wide def. has his strenghts and weaknesses, some are good in attacking the others are good in defending but there is rarely one who can do both equaly.

Palacio is finished, he had too many those fucked up moment.
While Ljajic is unknown, and for me he is worth watching instead of Papapalacio.

But in this game Palacio was the better choice. If you need someone to hold the ball and slow the game down, Palacio is much better. Ljajic can create more but we weren't looking for that by the end of the game.

Another week where this team has defied logic and got the three points despite a performance that wasn't amazing. Kondogbia was very good I must say, and Melo looks like that midfield general we have sorely needed for a long time.
Icardi took the chance that came his way, while Jovetic looked a good creative outlet. Perisic is wasted centrally. He needs the space and time on the wing.
Defence looked solid, Medel playing quite well actually. Telles was decent in my opinion, especially in the first half.
Three more points. 12 from 12. What else matters? Things coming together nicely!

I don't really agree on this point. I do get your point on not sitting back too much as it can come back to bite you, but a lot of great managers had used this tactic.
It can work when executed well but it shouldn't be relied on too much.

4 games and 4 wins...Can't remember the last time that happened at Inter...Now this doesn't mean much in the whole season but we need to keep in winning this small games...Next stop Hellas Verona at the Meazza.
If we won Chievo at their place then a home win against a lowly Hellas should be easier but hey we are Inter so nothing is a given.

Melo and Kondogbia both amazing today. The attack showed signs, Perisic's run for one. Mancini has had time to work on the defence and it looks head and shoulders above last season. Start with defence and then the attack will come with more games.
