We did well in a tough stadium. Melo was great and the defence did well. I do want us to improve when our midfielders pick up the ball at the edge of our box, a number of times we lose the ball like that which is risky. I saw Alex Telles did that once and Kondogbia too, we need to move the ball out quicker or at least get it away rather than risk anything. Kondogbia was great today. Icardi's goal looked easy but he did really well there.

Melo and Kondogbia both amazing today. The attack showed signs, Perisic's run for one. Mancini has had time to work on the defence and it looks head and shoulders above last season. Start with defence and then the attack will come with more games.

We've had guarin score, icardi get on the scoresheet, different people assisting. Kdog adapting well, and perisic definitely has potential to score and assist.

All of this without even seeing ljajic on the pitch yet

In more detail: We suck BADLY. Our attack is the main problem and completley invisible. It can't be our players as both Jovetic and Perisic are good players and did well in other teams - But are invisible here.. As I tried to say many times earlier it's easy to blame Attackers also and say they suck.... But it can't be the case.

agree...thats explain Chievo position in the standing now,they didn't have great players but their system works very well...if Jovetic and Perisic play with Chievo, they will fuck us...

Couldn't catch this live today. I downloaded and saw the game knowing the result, and knowing the time Icardi scored; non emotional watch. I honestly though it was the worst game we've played thus far. Then again the team is completely new with itself, and if they can grind out results in any way they can like they're doing now, I'm positive for the future, when everything starts to gel into some kind of distinct, solid teamplay. I don't like Perisic being played out of position - he's ineffective behind two forwards and belongs to the wing (saw a glimpse of a good run), but he wasn't as invisible today, as he was in the derby.
It's not that I don't like Medel playing in the back, but last game Mancini's 'excuse' was that Medel know the sudamericans (Bacca and L.Adriano), hence his starting position. What is it now? I would've liked Rano there... from captain to permasub it will completely destroy him mentally.
Melo got away with some shitz today and I lold at his celebration midgame, when he'd clear a corner or smth else. Good passion.
Icardi the usual; scores the hard ones, misses the easy. JoJo looked tired. Kondogbia not a star, nor average. Palacio did exactly what he was sent out to do - well done.

Chievo tried hard, but them being Chievo, were impotent in the final touch - not for a second did they look like they were going to score.
3 points, 4/4, keep it up and in no time confidence will continue to grow, the team will gel eventually and the good football will come.

The spanish commentator was saying that Chievo was the team with the most average Kms covered in pitch in the season, with 113 km (or something like that... I have 0 retentive) while we were one of the teams with the least kms covered in pitch with 80 or something kms... crazy.

And it was pretty palpable today and in previous games. Our players have no offball movements, you never see a player mark a pass... our play is too static. Our players wait for the ball to come to their feet and then move.

Yeah, we did great defensevily... but that is because we completely gave up on attacking and we focused 100% on waiting for them.

I don't know what the fuck... but every time I write a long speech, in the midde of it the keyboard stops transmitting and becomes retarded... anyone having this trouble? It only happens in this forum...

And I haven't finished my idea because I am tired of having to punch the keys to type... I'll finish later.
