Inter's Mauro Icardi is due for an MRI today but looks likely to skip the game against Roma.

The Nerazzurri have an intimidating match ahead on Saturday evening as they come against the growing tide of the Giallorossi, and to make matters worst their attack is in poor shape.

Icardi in particular is having trouble in his right knee. While tweeting that it was nothing serious on Saturday night, he will undergo an MRI today that will reveal the extent of his injury.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, it seems highly unlikely that he will play against Roma, though there is a slim chance.

Stevan Jovetic is also in a doubtful condition, as he trained apart from the rest of the team yesterday, but he may join Inter on the bench.

This is it guys. Our final. Just hope Mancini doesn't screw everything by scrapping this 4-2-3-1 for a 3-5-2.

Im happy with a draw. We have easier schedule and only Napoli to play against (from the top table teams). Lazio and Sassuolo will be tricky too but very beatable.

Roma on the other hand has to play Lazio and Milan away, also Napoli. They have 2 easy fixtures vs. Chievo and Atalanta till the end of the season.

I hope we can win, but draw is fine as well. But we simply CANNOT lose. We lose - game over. Simple as that.

also looks like europa is very likely at the very least(it is top 5 right?) which i am happy about, a return to europe is overdue and still a step in right direction.

You need to pack the midfield and stop Salah from getting the ball first and running with it second. Withstand the opening 15 minutes of pressure and we can get a good chance of winning this. We will need to practice corners, counterattacks, free kicks and long shots all week.

Its top 5, but Milan have already qualified via coppa finals. So even if we finish 6th with Milan above us, we will still make EL.

But I want 4th if we can't get 3rd. I know it makes little material difference 4th to 6th, but I want Inter to fight till the end and fight for every position up the table. That attitude matters, and sets the right tone for next season.

actually, as of this year the runner-up in coppa italia is not qualified anymore for europa league: that spot would go to the sixth in the standings, which right now is milan, but if they keep playing like this it could be sassuolo at the end of the season.

Yes this year runner-up in coppa italia is not qualified for europa league!

With win over Bologna now is sure we are in EL, but we must fight for CL, and if we beat or draw with Roma we will have morale advance!

EL will bring us 2-5m but CL group stage will give us 40m

.....and in EPL 17th place next year will give more than 30m for example with new Tv rights contract:

Just like when Napoli & Juve hammered us in the Coppa when we played 4-2-3-1 is it? Btw that was five NIL to us, in case you were wondering. We should play 4-2-3-1 so as to have our best players playing in their most effective roles, that being Brozovic as a regista & Perisic as an attacking left sided winger, Kdog is better as a DM as well. Have you not be watching our latest games or something? Oh & btw Roma's defence is weaker than ours & our attackers be plenty quick too. You may fear them, but I certainly don't, bring them on.

I think we should be tactically disciplined, and break when the opportunity arises. We can still play a solid 451, we cannot keep possession against Roma. When we started becoming more open the team started to suffer setbacks.

I'm pretty sure we will be playing a 4-3-3
and Roma 4-2-3-1.

Ljajic-Eder-Perisic

Coppa games are nothing like the campionato. We can't attack Roma and expect to own them,common.
We can however push Brozo forward...and it sort of looks like a 4-2-3-1
When we defend Perisic and Ljajic always track back...
