De boer was chosen by the previous owner and the only way he could survive under the new deal was to impress the new, rich owner, while we are already 8 points behind third place and with a horrible defense. In addition to this, Jindong is not exactly a connoisseur of football dynamics, he is only able do judge by the numbers. So, for better or for worse, this layoff was almost inevitable

So far every single person officially related to Italian football has given support and sympathy to De Boer except the chicken nuggets in Inter's management. Last but not least is Mihajlovic apparently.

I find it ridiculous to say that De Boer should be sacked because he made mistakes 1, 2 and 3. Well no shit Of course he made mistakes just like every single coach in the world. They all make mistakes. But it's ridiculous when you think that De Boer's mistakes are the reason why we're getting bad results. It's more ridiculous when you think that there's a coach out there who won't make mistakes and suddenly turn Mancini's joke of a squad into some winning machine.

Ending the transfers market with Ranocchia, Melo, Nagatomo, Eder and Grandpalacio as first choice available substitutes in their positions? Sure, what could go wrong?

I firmly believe that in a couple of hours he is relieved of his duties.

I am afraid so. I just hope they'll wait at least until after the Southampton game. Playing without a coach against them makes no sense at all. We're not out of Europa League yet. Why ruining even the slim chances we have?

the problem with his mistakes is that he doesnt seem to be learning from them. Everyone is going to make mistakes; but the point of a mistake is to improve and learn from it

I wouldn't have sacked him, should have been given more time under the circumstances, but he was never going to get it with this club. Sad day, feel sorry for the guy.

he made his own downfall. he came in and said he wont try and implement his gameplan straight away because look what happened at Liverpool. And he came in and done exactly the opposite. I very much sympathise with him and feel sorry for the guy, but it just wasn't meant to be. He never had the full backing. This season is wasted because we're creaming ourselves over the chance of getting Simeone next year. What the fucks the point.

I'm guessing this article is exaggerating the actual "confusion" over who is taking the session. Just because the media doesn't know what's happening doesn't mean the organization doesn't either. I personally find football-italia to be pretty anti-Inter at times.

HOWEVER, if it's true that the situation is "surreal" and there is actual internal confusion about who should be leading the training session, chalk it up as yet another embarrassing situation for our club's administration. It seems that with each passing week, they appear more and more like they have no idea how to manage a world-class sporting organization.

I agree with this, and so far this is the only reason why I would consider changing the coach, but still would give him more time.
I can hardly see the trend changing by changing the coach at this moment.

FdB is at Appiano though, this is ridiculous.

Oh wait, Vecchi is on his way to Appiano to take care of the training session.

Well, he mostly plays with either 4 3 3 or 4 2 3 1, so at least he won't need to start from scratch and we have the players suited for the system. Now it's up to him (if we are actually going for pioli, nothing official yet), it's going to be the chance of a lifetime for him and most likely be the only one, so at least I assume he'll be giving his 100%. Also, I liked how he worked with Felipe Anderson in his days at Lazio, hoping he can do a good job with barbosa, too.

what happens though if Pioli takes over, wins a ton of games and we finish third and get far in EL. Do we sack him for Simeone? lol this season is fucked already.our management is a disgrace

Hope we have the luxury to be thinking about such a "problem" come next summer.

I doubt Simeone will be available this summer. His contract ends in 2018 and he'll probably want to see it through unless Suning offers him some mind boggling money.

Absolutely correct.

That's why I expect Inter management and impatient fans to learn from our mistake in our dark age (early 2000s) and post-Mourinho tenure. Judging by his result and the investment already made, De Boer indeed is not delivering at all. But, if we want the long-term success, we must learn to gain success slowly step by step and not firing coach now and then.

Moreover, De Boer's replacement will be Pioli or Vecchi. The former moves from one midtable club to another on yearly basis while the latter has zero top level experience. Judging by their track record, I am fully doubtful if they can improve Inter performance.

Benitez, Leonardo, Gasperini, Stramaccioni, Mazzarri, Mancini, De Boer, Pioli.... When will we start learning from our mistakes?
