Well i mean if icardi really was hated by the rest of the team like some people on here make it out to be then i can understand but i just dont see that.

I mean was icardi a good captain till november and than all of a sudden he turned? I highly doubt that.

Also i actually did not want him to play against Rapid we should win against the 8th from the austrian league even with our primavera kids. But again it just all looks bad the fact that there has not been a statement from either club or player regarding the situation does not make it better.
And to leave him out of the squad very much looks like a punishment but to punish somebody for not being a good captain would be very weird so.....

But then again this is inter and one aspect we re always worldclass at is creating a fucken shit show.

Same. Taking the armband away now seems stupid.

He should have been benched, yes. But although he had some bad games he played and played and played. After the last game our coach blamed the management for his poor form, Zanetti said he's Inter's future on Monday and two days later the club takes away the armand and cause a massive media circus. We can only speculate what was the last straw that made Inter make this drastic decision, but if I had to guess its this:

"If we have to choose between renewal or an arrival of someone who can serve him 5 good passes, we choose the second"

That stupid bitch publicly insulted all Inter players. Now I do agree that most of these players need to be publicly insulted for the shite performances, but by the fans and not by the wife of the captain.

Actually my point was that the guy who everybody praises right now (Beppe) will have to take the blame if this shit backfires. Cause it really looks like this was him!

I don't think anyone can give a pinpoint accurate explanation to this. Its all speculation from journalists. I doubt there will be any official disclosure by the club addressing this issue.

sorry for chiming in here, I think he was still captain up to now because there was nobody with balls to take that measure. And I think JZ4 was also his guarantor.

Oh sorry, misunderstood. I don't think he should be blamed for that, he took this action because he had to as a CEO. Actually we should blame management for letting a player to act like he wants, so he did the right thing. If it backfires, then all the players turn out to be unprofessionals
