Gross exaggeration, Lewa is a consummate professional compared with Icardi, he plays 99% of Bayern games (I think he has the most minutes last 2/3 years), is always in top physical condition, and pretty much scores every game. As far as complaining about team mates, so did Kahn, Effenberg and Van Bommel. Ronaldo misses a ton of chances but still finds time to bitch to his team mates about the service he's getting. These are entitled, world class players, something teams have to put up with. Icardi hasn't earned that right yet. Lewa had to score 4 goals against a world class Real Madrid and still wait 2/3 more seasons, consistently scoring at the highest levels, before acting cuntish. As for Robben and Ribery, Robben has had plenty of problems with other team mates (Muller and Lahm) because of his selfishness, but those were also his best friends at the club. Bayern is a very high pressure club (where as we fail to win, bayern feel they don't win enough) things tend to boil over every once in a while. But in no way would I agree they have locker room problems. Hell, I wish they did lol.

Icardi was literally the same thing for us. Lewa also had a world-class team around him which icardi didn't most seasons with us. If any?

Would be even more awkward if Lukaku ends up being hurt and we only have lautaro left for CL.

Like what could we possibly gain from this? Unless we dont have any room for him on the list, which i doubt we should definitely put him on our CL squad list.
It s not like it costs us anything to put him on that list and again i rather have him available in case of an emergency than playing esposito.
Also it s not like it would soften our message of your not part of our plans anymore i think the striping of captancy/number and the public statements from our mgm were quite clear.

My post is a bit flippant but the point is there's a load of stuff beyond this that sets the context that you're ignoring

Pretty sure Icardi had bad streaks in every season, even in both ones he was the highest scorer. There were even shitty games from him where he scored. No wonder he is such a polarizing guy, even without the Wanda drama

Scoring 4 goals against Sampdoria is not literally the same thing as scoring 4 against an in form Real Madrid in a knockout game. You might as well argue Immobile and Quagriella have the right to act entitled because they were their respective teams top performers. Lewa never caused problems until 2 seasons ago, even then he was 100% professional on and off the pitch.

As for having a world class team, Dortmund weren't world class at that time, they were a young team. Brave and expressive. Much like Ajax last season.

Neymar to Barcelona deal about to happen according to Di Marzio. This could spark the centre-forward carousel that has been threatening all summer.

Though I'm fairly sure PSG could offer Icardi his own castle in the middle of Paris and he'd still say he prefers Inter's bench at this point. More likely is Neymar -> Barca, Dybala -> PSG, Icardi -> Juve, SMS/Midfielder -> Inter.

At the time it seemed right. I know many did not agree with it but he was our only amazing player at the time. The only other viable candidate at that time would have been Handa. No one could have foresaw the way Icardi's Inter career would unfold .

What about the people who fucking spoke out against it?! :rollani: Inter management look like dumbasses.

Seriously? Find me one winning team with a horrible locker room. Can it be done, yea i'm sure. But saying the solution to having a positive locker room is winning trophies is backwards. Will winning brighten the mood, yes. But fixing the locker room is a bit more realistic then saying "win trophies" to solve the issue. I like the idea though, we need to start winning trophies
None of us are on a football club and none of us know shit about what actually happens in the locker room of one. We don't know shit about whether or not our locker room is positive or not.

We won a treble with a bunch of clans in our locker room. Get

Where exactly would you say we have weakened significantly. It sure to hell isn't the coach. Or the defense even despite the new formation. The midfield lost a slumping Naingollan but gained young skilled players like Barella and Sensi.
Yeah that's right FIF keep downplaying Naingolan's ability. It may not mean much against shit teams like Lecce where Sensi will shine, but let's see what Sensi does against a proper midfield or even in the Champions League.

Is it the forwards cus we lost Icardi? I too wish Icardi didn't let this situation get to this but replacing him with Sanchez and Lukaku, two players way more built for Conte's style, would be an upgrade to losing Icardi. Our wingers are equivalent, but if Conte's miracle work to Candreva is any indication of this season, our wingers have upgraded as well.
One game against the worst team in the league has people here calling Candreva a good and useful player...

Conte>Spaletti
Lukaku/Toro/Sanchez > Icardi/Toro/Ranochia
Sensi/Barella/Brozo/Gaglia > Brozo/Gaglia/out of form or hurt Naingollan/Borja
Godin/DeVrij/Skriniar/Dambro = Skriniar/Devrij/Miranda/Dambro

What a cute comparison! Ranochia was our third attacking player last year, not Keita, Politano or Perisic. RANOCCHIA!
Also an out of form/hurt Naingolan who had a better season than both Barella and Sensi last year is worse than them because he's not here anymore so he's shit. But Sensi and Barella are here so they are GOOD!

We have replaced every lost position with a valid replacement. Only time will tell whose right. I thought people would love having players like Barella, Sensi, Lukaku, Godin, etc given some of the shit we've had to sign in the past; but I guess some people will never be happy.
We exiled our best players and replaced them with players that are not as good as they were.

For all the people talking about doing this to Icardi helps the locker room... what do you tihnk is going to happen when this teams goes on a bad run of form and Icardi is not playing?

Yeah, right. We should have not replaced Spalletti with Conte. Spalletti should have stayed. We should not have exiled Icardi, Nainggolan, and Perisic. Fuck Lukaku, Sanchez, Barella, Sensi, Biraghi, Godin and whoever we will sign in the future. Nothing should ever change. Everything should remain the same. Fuck trying to be better. We should just stick to finishing 4th and qualifying for that last CL spot at the 93th minute of the last league game every season.

Wanda going public was the true catalyst that pressured management to seek players who can string 5 passes together.

Lewandowski achieved much more than Icardi, yes, but ...

The time Lewandowski scored four goals against Madrid, he still played for Dortmund. During his time at Bayern he got a lot of criticism because he continuously failed to perform in the KO-phase of the Champions League. You can say a lot about Icardi but I can't remember him being out of physical shape. And I don't think he played much fewer games than Lewandowski although we had much less games than Bayern every season. He had some "droughts", yes - but he also didn't play in one of the best teams in the world. And even last season Icardi scored some of our most important goals.

Lewandowski complains all the time about his teammates, the club, transfers, on the pitch etc. He was talking about a transfer FOR TWO YEARS - and he earns three times as much as Icardi. ;)

Bayern always have problems with the behaviour of players (remember Lahm's book?) - but unlike us they are able to handle it.

Lewa is also five years older. Lots of time for Icardi to fuck it up. Oh wait...
