As mentioned on WhatsApp we win the league and we don't bother about coeffs because league winners go into Pot 1.

What are you guys talking about. What Conte should have done differently? We created tons of chances in this match => his system was working. It's up to the players then to seal the deal. His puppy boy Lukaku was the main culprit today why we didn't win so that's the blame we can lay on him. But honestly who would he use instead, Esposito?

He has too thin squad and today the quality simply wasn't good enough.

Biraghi crossing from left, D'Ambrosio crossing from right, Vecino passing balls to Barca, and Valero already dead in 10 minutes. No third striker, no wingbacks and no midfielders.

What is Conte supposed to do with this shit?

They want to compare him to spalletti, even though conte pushed his team to win and was losing to one of the best teams in the world with nothing to play for rather than a very mediocre team with nothing to play for. Conte had them going for the win and we had so many chances, but what cane you do with that midfield 5,fuck me. Awful awful 5.

After rethinking, I believe that Conte has actually over-achieved in this game with the players available to him.

We had chances, which I attribute to conte's system. But because we lack quality there at the moment, we weren't able to press on or keep possession for momentum. Take for example that Valero break. Sensi, barella, fuck even gagliardi are prolly through there. He didnt suck out. He keeps pushing us on despite having a gutted roster.

Next year we just have to sell off Lukaku and riprendi Icardi then we are all set for another historical CL run.

Can't blame Conte for shit. And if anyone thinks to blame him you really need evaluated,. Considering the lack of players I think he done quite well overall

Conte definitely played a role in this loss. This was a must win game against Barca's bench on our own pitch. But for some reason, Conte decides to defend with 5 players and rely on the counter for a steal goal. We put no pressure on their players and gave them all the time in the world to prepare their attacks. Plus the formation broke down frequently with players standing aimlessly out of position. I still can't believe I saw De Vrij today trying to dribble alone past Barca's defenders in their own half before ofcourse failing miserably. No matter how bad or good the players are, we did not have a winning tactic today. One of our worst games this season, and the coach should be held liable for not taking action during half time when it was clear a change in tactics was direly needed.

The chances created today were mainly from counter attacks and they worked because, again, we are playing agsinst their bench.

Did you see the technique of their "B" team? They would be on our A team.

This is what I said on a random Inter fb page. They were missing most of their standard players, but for fucks sake, they already have youngsters who can actually play football.

Their B team isnt one of the best teams in the world. Far from it. And they didnt even play seriously.

It wasnt all Conte fault but this is a horrible result. Should not be okayish with this because it is peasant mentality. We should at least got a draw, it is at our home ffs.

I felt he made a big mistake in taking Valero off for Esposito.

Not that Valero or Vecino are particularly defensively competent, but they're at least bodies in midfield. With one of our "passers" replaced with a forward, we lost all ability to retain the ball and build attacks. The last 15 minutes or so were a fucking shamble. We were trying desperately to attack, but we couldn't even link 3 passes together and kept losing the ball while moving it forward.

Furthermore, it meant that we were ultra vulnerable to the counterattack. With all our players forward, all it took was one vertical ball and all of a sudden they were running at our naked defense. Perez completely fucked one of these dangerous 4v3 chances. But they easily could've scored before Fati's goal, and they easily could've scored more after Fati's goal.

I felt we were doing OK until Valero came off. We were slowly getting chances and Barca's defense was starting to give the ball up cheaply. Conte got impatient and decided to force the issue by taking off a midfielder for a forward at the 77th minute. It immediately felt early to me. If he wanted to bring on Esposito, he could've even taken Lukaku off.

Of course, the flip side is that if he'd waited longer and we didn't score, people would complain why he waited so long to bring on Esposito. But I honestly think we should've persisted with what we had, instead of going all gung-ho.

^thats not a mistake though. He had no midfielder on the bench to bring in, and we all know Valero is a 70’ player, max. He cant run anymore.
