I can feel it.
So it's 15m€ + 5m€ apparently easily attainable bonuses. Why the bonus structure is important? Because only the fixed part will be the amortized value of Eriksen in our books. Bonuses are paid when they are paid and they are different money, maybe just cost of operations or something (browha or someone else can have a better guess where those go).
So instead of having to have Eriksen at 4,4m€ at our books annually (20m€ transfer fee), he will be there at 3,4m€ (15m€ transfer fee). Is that really important? Don't ask me, but for Marotta it apparently is.
edit. And yeah, waiting for the "here we go" of Romano to get the fine details, but probably the details are these presented.
I mean, that bonus is expensed immediately so this is actually not beneficial for us whatsoever, other than delaying cash payment.
Unless you capitalize the bonus to the player's asset, in which case it makes zero difference from just paying 20.
I feel you mate. Back to the 2006 when Ibra was signed I was over the moon. That was a huge signing.Jesus Christ, i cant believe this shit. Are we seriously signing Eriksen? The Spurs Eriksen? One of worlds best midfielders?
Havent been this hyped since the Ibra transfer. Fuck me, look for my posts, ive been begging for 4 years for him now.
Dont fuck this up. Please dont fuck this up.
