Will all respect, I don’t think Roma looked particularly better, only more motivated, yes.
But that’s it. I thought a draw was fair considering everything.

Thoughts on the game

• Young and Candreva were dominated. Hopefully we see Moses start more games.

• Brozovic in the advanced position was as impotent as its always been. Gags was our only decent midfielder.

• If Eriksen is struggling in the midfield, he should at least start ahead of Lautaro. Even a mediocre Eriksen performance would have been more effective than Brozovic or Lautaro.

• Us dropping points means Juve will also drop points.

From both games against Roma I noticed that Roma have a great ability to keep the ball but when it comes to getting shots in they really take their freakin time. I can't believe Mancini wasn't booked he made about 5 fouls 2 of which were tactical.

Now on the game I believe Roma's goal really hurt the side mentally going into the second half, thank God for Spinazzola being an idiot.

Watching Roma , I can see why Conte wanted (and probably still wants) dzeko so badly. Pretty much everything they did upfront passed through him, and his ability to carry on the ball and resist to the defenders is remarkable.

Overall a pretty even game, but the ref kind of fucked us.
First goal should have been disallowed - as Conte said, the Roma player made contact with the back of Lautaro's ankle. Lautaro doesn't do himself any favours going to ground so easily so often though.
We should have had a penalty for handball from Erikson's free kick. The Roma guy in the wall kind of stuck his hand out to the side. Unlucky but clear penalty for me.

He was outside the box I believe when it hit his hand

The goal would be dissalowed if it was Juve, even before they scored he would call that foul. Maybe it looks like Lautaro is falling easily but how many times Dybala get's a free kick for this?

This are the matches where you can see which players are made for success and trophys, and who arent.
F. e. you know Lukaku will score this penalty, maybe Icardi would not have scored.

Other players wo are too bad are of course the known ones... ;-)

Why would Icardi not score? He was pretty clutch at penalties and he scored a very late penalty against Lazio to get us to the UCL with all the weight of the Interistas and all the pressure on his shoulders and he buried it in 2018.

Maybe he's thinking of Icardi's penalty in his last game at Inter against Empoli. Almost the exact same situation as vs. Lazio actually with CL on the line.

But that's not even relevant. Issue we have is how we can concede from that position. A giveaway after a medium long ball to striker who fails to trap the ball in the center line. Not a rare case at all. We should concentrate on these issues how we are so goddamn vulnerable team.

Btw it is worth pointing out that we haven't achieved CL just yet. If we finish fourth, Roma win the Europa League and Napoli win the Champions League we will not be playing CL football.....yes I know highly unlikely but lets be honest look at what we had to go through to get CL the last couple of years loool

Yes. Maximum of five teams. But no worry, that scenario won't happen and we will also most probably finish 3rd and not 4th.

I didn't remember about this retarded rule.

Up to a few years ago, when he team won a trophy, the League of that team would get an extra spot in the competition, now there's a possibility for things to go the other way. Definitely retarded.
