Eriksen absolutely must be incorporated in the team, he's world class.

Wish I got 1 Euro for every time I`ve read this

They scored from 2 set pieces and a cross. We were not out classed. It's one game, they got the better of it tonight.
I agree, the game could have gone much more different. But the subs, the players... more. I loved the final. Hoping the best for the team.

Sevilla is also a "new team".

New coach appointed on the same week as Conte.

Nine of their starters were new signings. That is the number 9. Nine out of 11. New coach and 9/11 new signings.

You don't believe this?
Bono - Jesús Navas, Koundé, Diego Carlos, Reguilón - Fernando, Jordán, Banega, Ocampos, Suso - De Jong

Bono, free transfer from Girona in summer 2019
Jesus Navas - existing player
Kounde - transferred from Bordeaux in summer 2019
Diego Carlos - transferred from Nantes in summer 2019
Reguillon - loaned from Real Madrid in summer 2019
Fernando - transferred from Galatasaray in summer 2019
Jordan - transferred from Eibar in summer 2019
Banega - existing player
Ocampos - transferred from Marseille in summer 2019
Suso - loaned from Milan in winter 2020
De Jong - transferred from PSV in summer 2019
This, lol. Some clubs don't take years to build and get nothing to show for it, unlike us. Although we're clearly doing better compared to last years, it's still not quite enough. Would Hakimi and some other decent signings change that? I'll believe it when I see it. Sevilla have already showed that it's not all about the money.

As of now I'll have both Atalanta and Juve to finish above us for next season. As for CL? Let's hope don't draw any Spanish sides.

i blame 70% of this loss on the ref, this game wouldve looked a lot different had he given the blatant red card,

the rest of the blame is on conte and his mismanagement

If we keep blaming it on everything else than ourselfs we will never get better.

"why do we fall, Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up."
Next season will reveal the mentality of our players.

But fuck this hurts a lot.

Good details. Only difference is their existing players actually had won this competition for so many times while our existing players have been struggling for 4th post in the league and got nowhere in European competitions.

However, before anybody asks. Yes, this loss is on Conte.

Well, next year we'll get draw exactly against those teams. UEFA final helped us (did it?). We're still going to have to fight against the great teams.

Well, Banega and Jesus Navas (15 years ago) won it from their side.

Godin and Young won it from our side.

It is not comparable. Navas and Banega actually won it for Sevilla. I dont remember Godin and Young won it for Inter.

Did we deserve to win, did not deserve to win. We were really close, whether the change came at the wrong time, the result could have been different but it did not come. Thanks to what. I don't wan't to fire him, he's been very good. Who would you replace him for?

I'm devastated, I actually can't fathom how we managed to lose this game tonight, we are a far superior team to them. Man Utd, the team I hate more than any, were a far superior team to them in the semi final. How the fuck have they won this trophy, i've read many explanations but can't get my head around it, it's like when Greece won Euro 2004, it just doesn't make sense.

I will be watching with a group of friends at my place. They all hate Italian football, normally if we watch Inter they tell me to switch to another game after 20/30 mins. This is the first attempt since Conte is coach of Inter so I really hope the players won't let me down. I've bought a lot of alcohol and weed, so if the game seems boring I just get them drunk and stoned and then every game will be amazing.

I'm really confident about this game, especially after the Shaktar game. Inter looked so good and impressive, they can attack, they can lean back if needed/wanted. And if we can stop the attacking play of Shaktar we can certainly stop Sevilla from playing. Also there pinch-hitter was a former PSV player and when we played them De Vrij and Skriniar!! :D totally outplayed him so don't worry about Luuk de Jong coming in.

My parents are married for 40 years today so for me that the final is played today is a sign we are going to win this match so I can celebrate 2 big things this weekend.

Good luck everyone tonight.

FORZA INTER!

I've signed up just to congratulate you, thank you for calling karma tonight and making us win our sixth cup.

Pretty good move by Lopetegui to start De Jong, I don't think we were ready for that at all.
