Didn't Alonso started this season very bad? I have the feeling he is declining very quickly but I don't watch Chelsea as much so I could be wrong.
West Ham made a bid for 25M for Milenkovic which Fiorentina didn't decline right away. Interested to see if they will accept this bid eventually because I thought they wanted 40M?

Best Overall PosterIt's not about decline per se, it's about Alonso being utter shit in a back 4. He simply can't defend to save his life. He's better as a wingback. As long as Conte is around, he will be useful. But once Conte is gone he will be useless and it will be impossible to offload because of his wages. And that's why a loan with option is the only acceptable deal for Alonso.

I`m sure we won`t pay for Alonso now, loan is the only option IMO. We really have to deal with Dalbert and Asamoah departures.
Smalldini is holding out for Roma, Darmian coming in anyway.

which of course sounds bs. It's far more realistic they offered 25m for Milenkovic than Maksimovic who only has one year left in his contract. ADL is probably spreading fake news to drive the price up.

If we get Darmian, there's no room for Alonso. We don't have spots in the squad for him, unless we want to include him/Darmian only to the Serie A list.
We need to keep hold of Ranocchia or get another CB which will effectively stops Darmian and Dalbert/Alonso both to be in CL list.
