His injury history with us is super fucking suspicious. I'm not blaming Conte like some of you are, for whatever your reasonings may be, because that's ridiculous here. I have never seen someone be so injury prone with consistency strong enough to miss months at a time.
I want to point out a few things:
1. There was a rumor a while back when he was at Sassuolo that he had some small disciplinary issues. I dont have the source right now but I'll try to look for it later, I do believe it was posted here though.
2. His injury history at Sassuolo is almost identical to the one hes had at Inter, his most serious injury being a tear in his abductors which he's had 3 times (twice at Inter, which were back-to-back lol). Other then that he's had 2 non-specified injuries on his bicep. Given his career so far how have both clubs failed to isolate and prevent those injuries from happening multiple times? I get it, he's definitely glass cannon, but physios, doctors, and trainers have plans for this kind of stuff.
3. His more minor injuries, which still make him miss multiple games, are listed as foot injuries, calf problems, muscle injury, muscle fatigue etc. Other than the foot injury, these are typically soft injuries that make you miss 1 game or play limited minutes in. I'm not a doctor or physio and I'm not at training sessions but these remind of me of bitch injuries people make up to skip practice or game time.
4. To my knowledge none of these injuries have come from actual games, when it is more likely to get hurt. These are training injuries. If he can't even train with the team he should be shipped off to Monza or something. Even Giuseppe Rossi was more useful than this guy after his 3rd acl tear or whatever the fuck.
Happy derby day. Forza Inter é milan merda!
