10 years of FIFI am on Inter side for this decision. Sporting was a pussy at first. We had agreed on 7m price and they broke the agreement.Inter reject an offer from Sporting because they want to terminate Joao Mario contract so he could walk free.
If we budge, trust me, next time nobody deals with us seriously again. We basically show Sporting a middle finger for that attitude.
I feel like we don't lose him for free though. Benfica could "pay back" that money somehow, buy some random kids from us for instance.

The incompetence it takes to sign such a player for such a fee willfully is simply unrealistic. An absolute embarrassment to the reputation of this club, and it has made me love football just a small bit less.

This whole thing happened so fast, Rui Costa was in Milano just few days ago (was it Saturday?), Pastorello was there. Inter had agreed 7.5m€ fee. We had agreed that fee with Sporting aswell earlier, they decided to officially offer less and we refused that offer.
No way it all turns to us not taking any money from the sale.
This is a good day, people. We celebrate now.

Although we just record a capital loss of € -6.778.749, we also just remove € 9.923.749 from his annual cost.
I think there will be probably primavera player to sacrifice and to redeem that capital loss.
