Who says the management want a successful season anymore…?Ridiculous conversation. You cannot sell your key players in the middle of August and have a successful season, unless the player is demanding a transfer out.
We do this same song and dance every year. We wait until the end of August to buy players, the players don't have time to be integrated into the team, and we end up looking like garbage up until the first international break (even if we win). It's not a coincidence that we booked Hakimi early and he hit the ground running last year.
Some "Chelsea" fanLol who got banned?
Plus you already have Lautaro with a very tricky contract situation. In a year from now you could have a new attacking duo. Too big of a risk.I wouldn't mind selling him for over 120 mil if that offer comes, but who the hell we buy to replace him. Vlahovic comes first to mind, but is he really on that level yet, at least heading into this season... But then again, even if lukaku stays, will we be good enough next season to fight for anything more than cl place anyway.
Tough fuckin decision, IF of course offer rises up to 120 mil or more.
The time to sell him was before selling Hakimi. Selling him now would be way too risky.
Di Marzio reports Inter has rejected Chelsea's 100m€ + Alonso offer for Lukaku.
He also points out Lukaku's decision will be decisive (of course) if we are going to / want to sell.
edit. Romano points out the offer was around 100m€ including Alonso.
Except when they have to take a penalty. That is when you can count on the English to inevitably shit the bed.Grealish is English and English players are genetically superior to all others.
Thanks dude, I hate every single part of it.
