10 years of FIFVlahovic will cost more than Zapata, like at least 60m€. And if Zapata cost 40m€, that's over 100m€ on two strikers. Doesn't make any sense given we already have Lautaro.

Probably Lukaku didn't want to force our hands, like Locatelli is doing now.
But sincerely, from every angle is a good move for Lukaku and for us, if we know to use rhe money (no fucking Zapata).

Not sure which I'd pick over Zapata or Vlahovic. Zapata is more "proven", although his ceiling for the time being seems lower. Vlahovic on the other hand could end being another Belotti.

10 years of FIFI was not expecting and sincerely, is overpaying. Lukaku disappointed at high level in EPL and his game has many deficiencies, we spoke about over and over.
I like the guy a lot. He was what we hoped for and even more. And a genuinely good person.
But for such a hefty sum in our situation, it is completely understandably.

They're probably figuring that "well, we might get €200M in sales, but then there's Man Utd's cut of the Lukaku sale + how much money we still owe to Man Utd + how much money we still owe to Real Madrid", and suddenly that's how you end up with €200M - €60M = ...€80M.

Transfer GuruSeriously fuck Suning if that is true. If they wanted to earn 80m from transfers, Hakimi+Lukaku will give them almost 200m. Give Marotta & Co a free hand to rebuild from that surplus 120m. Just like when Marotta bought Lukaku, it looked like a overspend. Same way Vlahovic may look like an overspend now, but one year of success at a top club like Inter and his value will go skyrocketing.
120m surplus MUST be spent to rebuild the squad. Or else it will become clear that Suning are fucking around.

If we sell Lukaku for the reported €120m that gives us, €70m-ish to play with. The Hakimi sale was boneheaded. Grealish is going to Man City for €100m and I would take Hakimi on one leg over him any day of the week. Also we have this kid on this team that has been refusing to resign since last year that we paid €28m for and is worth €80m+, who IMHO won't be more than a 15-18 goal scorer in this league, and much easier to replace than either Hakimi or Lukaku....
