he will receive 50% of his salary for termination of his contract.

So we're getting Nandez now, right?

There are rumours we paid him 2.2m to terminate his contract. :palm:

Worst post-treble transfer and no one can change my mind. We're lucky Zaniolo is made of glass else this transfer would be remembered along the likes of Pirlo, Seedorf and Cannavaro.

How the fuck we end up paying 50% of his salary? There MUST be something related to Nandez deal then.

We are so fucking poor getting rid of players. Marotta didn't buy this player so we can't blame him for that but he surely was the one (with Conte) who completely tanked the value of the player. And now they've been taken on a ride by Giulini for 3 transfer seasons in a row with Nainggolan? Cagliari haven't paid anything to us for Nainggolan and instead we've paid more than half of his salary all the time he's been at Cagliari (basically including this new season).

Worst managed contract ever.

Losing Zaniolo for this leech is actually what makes this transfer the worst post-treble transfer and probably one of the worst transfers Inter has ever done. What an absolute waste of money and talent this deal was. Glad he's gone. Next should be Vidal.

Still is for me. I'd say Roma contributed a lot to zaniolos acl injuries given the amount of them that have occurred there. If he stayed here who knows what happens.

But, disaster. Lived up to his nickname of ninja by being fucking invisible for 3 years

I actually never seen his transaction as bad as pirlo, seedorf or cannavaro.

Firstly, as much as talented zaniolo is, the fact is after getting zaniolo (and losing Ninja), roma never made to CL place in league for years (that's at least 40 million/year for 4 years and counting).

Secondly, I knew for sure we would have not develop Zaniolo as he was developed in Roma. I was shocked when zaniolo played regularly for Roma in his first season. I knew had he stayed with us, he was just going to be loaned to serie b, swiss league or whatever league until eventually would be used for getting other players anyway. There is no record as long as I can remember we played 18 years old regularly. Even playing bastoni regularly to some extent in conte's first season when he was 20 years old already a miracle that we have not seen at least for a decade.

Back to Ninja, paying 50% is really dumb. Smh

Just re-read the first pages...I have a big yao :yao: I also thought the same and can't be more wrong. Turn out to be my most hated player.

This is the second worst deal I would say, after Mario. Just because we spent less cash (Zaniolo & Santon are basically nobody now) and at least some of Ninja goals were important.

So he's really gone? It's forever right? No buy back clause for 15M?

Yes we payed him 2.25m (half of his remaining contract) just to not have any ties with the club any more. Now he can negotiate his own contract with his next club (Cagliari I suppose), because they won`t be giving him 4.5m/year NET that`s for sure.

There's no way we're giving him this much of his salary. The latest reports were that he wanted 1.5M.
That was my reaction too but I guess Marotta overlooked that Ninja enjoys gambling in casinos, so he just raised the bid :yao:

Must have been bad for morale keeping him around, otherwise I can't imagine why we would pay him that much.
