Onana on a free transfer would be a no-brainer. I would be very happy and I really think we would have a steal. One of the best keepers in Europe. The only thing worries me is how fast in shape he will get after not playing a game for 1 year.

The deal with Lyon takes a lot of time because Ajax wants 10M and Lyon only willing to go to 5M was the latest news.

more reliable sources are writing that he prefers Lyon over Inter. One of the reasons is Peter Bosz, his former coach in Ajax who promoted him to first squad.

according to this journalist, Onana has signed a preliminary contract with Inter and talks with Lyon were just a smokescreen to avoid punishment from Ajax which prefers to sell him outright and get some money.

Nabil Djellit is the definition of hit and miss. He occasionally gets something right but he's known to report lots of bullshit. All the journalists of France Football are Tier 4.

All other big teams are set keeper wise: Atletico, PSG, Liverpool, Man City, Bayern, Dortmund, Man Utd

It's us, Spurs and Arsenal (who already have Leno)

Barring a major fuck up by our mercato team, Onana should be ours.

... and costs less than 5 million. Tbh if we are so sold of him, we should buy him now because I don't trust Handanovic anymore. He could just learn the language, get to use to his teammates and when Handa's mistakes happens more often, he could already start here. But yeah, saving 5 millions and having the problem of getting used to a new country/league next year sounds very reasonable.

Because he got tested positive for doping.
But he really is a great keeper. Amazing with his feet too. Perfect replacement for Handa
