Sampdoria and Genoa are reportedly "fighting" for the signature of Milan full-back Andrea Conti. Since the defender’s contract expires next year, Milan are not interested in letting the player leave on loan to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year, but an outright sale could be a significant problems for both Sampdoria and Genoa.
Reminder: The former Atalanta defender joined Milan in July 2017 for a reported €24m but has only played 51 times with the Rossoneri over the last four years.

I NEVER understand why we skipped this beast, especially at that price. Even if we can't sell Perisic...he can sit on stand for all I care. Kostic is twice a player and Dimarco can share the minutes.

Its a low risk because the loan fee is 1 million, and high reward because the buy option is only 6 million. Of course there are future sale percentage, possibly big amount as that is where Monaco recoup most of their investments. But it does not really matter anyway since milan got the player with low costs anyway.
I'd rather we got player with that kind of bargain than gamble 25-30 millions for a player that never play in serie-a.

What about scoring goals and asists and being best player for his team in two most important games in football as sport, and that is semifinal and final of World cup, and of course being instrumental in winning trophys like CL with Bayern or scudetto with Inter? 10 years of FIFI care about one player personally. There are like 24 players + coaches in a team achievement. Pinto won more trophies than our teams combined. Joao Mario was fundamental for his Euro cup too.
Perisic wasn't even a dispute starter at his clubs to begin with. Why do I need to care what he did as a WINGER at Bayern or Croatia, when we don't use that role? As a wingback he is barely equal to Ashley Young, saying it all.
Sorry to hurt your feeling, but Kostic is much superior. He is built as a wingback naturally. Your Croatian is just an awkwardly reshaped solution.
