sky reports inter are meeting with his new entourage today.
Marcelo Brozovic’s entourage met with Inter directors today and the feeling from both sides over a contract extension is said to be positive.
The Croatia international is only under contract at San Siro until the end of the current campaign, so he could begin negotiating with a different club from January.
There has so far been very little progress in negotiations, but according to multiple reports this evening, there was a meeting today between Inter chiefs and Brozovic’s representatives.
It was an exploratory encounter rather than going into specific details, but it did confirm that Inter want to keep Brozovic, while the player is eager to remain with the Nerazzurri.
I`m also optimistic about this extension, he has grown into a man and father here in Milano. Money is not everything for everyone, he has become an iconic player for the club and has good connections with the team members. If he really wanted to leave, he would have probably hired a real agent instead of his father
He is just trying to pocket as much a possible while the bonuses stay in the family. Can`t blame him, would do the same.
Brozovic: ....but they don't have money enough.Biasin: Brozovic, do you wish to remain at Inter?
Brozovic: Yes.
Definitely feeling this.So true, and while realising this it feels so weird. Brozovic out of all people becoming iconic for Inter
Grande Spalletti.Definitely feeling this.
It's very strange to remember being ungodly frustrated when he refused a transfer to Chelsea, after we kept trying him in more advanced positions and it just wasn't working out. I would've been fine losing him for cheap at the time just to rid ourselves of a salary; he seemed so unreliable and useless to our gameplan.
And then shortly after we started playing him deeper and he became our most important midfielder for some time. Granted, that might be Barella now, but we'd lose so much without him.
And at some point, I don't know when, his quirky insanity became charming to me, e.g. the bomb tattoo. If he left it would be more than just losing a crucial player to me... it would be losing one of my absolute favorites out of this current group. I really hope we pay up, because I can't think how we could possibly replace what he brings cheaper than re-signing him, even if the wage is higher than we want.
To be fair, he rarely stands out, but without him, there is no midfield. The effort he puts in every match is incredible. Just give him what he deserves.Though he didn't stand out much he had a great game tonight. Great range of passing, positioning, and defending, his slide tackling in particular has improved significantly. Keep it up you crazy psycho and quietly assert yourself as one of the best DMs there are.
Maybe it's only for special occasions.Last time he wore his red underwear we have won over Crotone and became Champions and today we have probably qualified to the next round. He should wear it in every match.
