I don't think it really matters. We'll only get through the tie with exceptional defending and Lautaro, Džeko and Sanchez minimizing the mistakes.

Any kind of good result here will be a surprise.

Excatly, with or without Barella ..

I see positive point, that Barella will be rested for Coppa/Seria A matches.

Salah-Mane-Diaz-Firmino-Jota-Origi what a troublesome headache!

We need prime Julione-Maicon,Lucio,Samuel,JZ4-Motta,Cambiasso-Etoo,Sneijder,Pandev-Milito. That would be a tough match.

We need playing like Real Madrid, keep Liverpool in possesion, defend from deep, then take a chance from free kick or corner.

Hakan create so much opportunity from Corner this season, Skriniar, Dzeko, Perisic, and De Vrij are huge threat from set pieces.

We need to exploit their right flank. Arnold is their weakest point defensively, so Perisic must be fit and at his 100%.

I'd argue Alexis and Lautaro need to start but we all know that Dzeko will.

Our biggest problem is having to play without Barella. I'd avoid using Vidal, especially in the away game. Between Gagliardini and Vecino, I'm not sure who needs to be benched the most. I think I'd use Vecino in the home game and Gagliardini in the away game perhaps.

It's all going to depend on players' condition after tonight vs Roma and of course the huge game vs Napoli, but the key is to dominate midfield, let Perisic do his thing on the left side, keep their left neutralized as much as possible, do not attempt to allow a high defensive line and hopefully be clinical.
It's an odd opponent. You can beat them but on their day they can score 4 on you without much effort. We need to neutralize their offensive outlets and cancelling their right flank should be the key ingredient here, forcing them to focus on holding us more than we need to worry about holding them.

I strongly disagree. He don't have any weakness at all. For me, he is the best RB in the world (at this moment). In all way (defensive, build-up, offensive, asist, goals..). He will properly fuck us on the right side. I'm more afraid of him than Salah/Mane.

You can clearly see that the only weakness Liverpool has is Arnold being exposed at the back. That's where we gotta hit.

Unless you think it's more prudent to attack the middle.

Looks like playing for crosses and corners is the way to according to the graphics above, if I'm reading them correctly.
