Looks like playing for crosses and corners is the way to according to the graphics above, if I'm reading them correctly.
Honestly it's the only way I can see us scoring, unless, like Brehme said, Perisic has himself an absolute monster game.

I'm not too familiar with Liverpool's current line-up, are we expecting a Milner - Henderson - Jones still due to injuries or are we seeing the full strength Thiago - Fabinho - Keita?

Because one of those inspires much more hope in me than the other

Just checked a Liverpool website: they have Leicester City tomorrow at home (Mane, Henderson out) then away at Burnley on Sunday. Mane expect back late today or tomorrow, Henderson minor back injury but should be back in the fold soon and Salah is back, but depressed from AFCON loss, according to Klopp's presser.

If Bastoni is still injured, any idea how Dimarco or Dambro will defend him? :yao:
Lmao even Bastoni would have a hard time defending him, we are talking about the absolute cream of the crop of football players bar Ronaldo and Messi.

I genuinely wish I had @Sawyer 's optimism (no sarcasm) as it's a weird feeling being excited and scared to death at the same time to see this match.

Inzaghi will probably take a more defensive approach, meaning Perisic and Dumfries/Darmian share more defensive duties than usual to help the defence line.

If Bastoni and Correa become matchfit for the tie I'll give a 40% chance for us to qualify. Without them I don't know; we need two very effective show in both legs to get past Liverpool.

Think our Strikers too. Fortunately Dzeko-Sanchez on fire.

Do the best ragazzi!

I'm shocked anyone here has any hope. I've kind of mentally accepted that this one is finishing 6-0 on aggregate and moved on to focusing on the Scudetto.

Hope I'm proven wrong, of course.

Best case scenario is losing with dignity, which is an achievable objective. Basically like taking a moderate beating from a dude who’s girlfriend/wife/mom slept with you. You know the beating is deserved, but at least you go home with dignity.
Well, at least we made it through the group stage
Lol we have zeroooo chance. But better to lose against them then to embarass against Lille or Ajax.
Only had to read shit from the first page to decide on never reading this thread again. Forgot how many losers are on this forum.

Just imagine liverpool fans lurking here, what an embarrassment. As if football is a sport without upsets.

We’re going to win this game.

Yep. I'm calling it now, we lose both home and away without scoring any goals across the two games.

Just don't do worse than Milan!

Liverpool 3 - 2 Milan. Milan 1 - 2 Liverpool.
