I'd rather get Havertz or Werner. He was good, but he was never as dominant as Ibra, so I don't see a reason why go for him now that he is again off form. No Pintus, No Conte.

With Havertz (hard to get him, but we can at least try) and Werner they would at least have some resale value.

If Chelsea were to go bankrupt, the trustees in bankruptcy would likely find a buyer very quickly.

Inter Not Directly Impacted by Freeze of Chelsea Finances

The sanctions issued by the British Government against Roman Abramovich will severely affect Chelsea, but it does not appear Inter will be caught in the crosshairs. The Nerazzurri have to collect more than half of the fee for the sale of Romelu Lukaku. However, they had taken some precautions, Calcio e Finanza indicates.

The Belgian striker transferred in a €113M move last summer. The Blues paid €22.6M right away. The Italian side cashed in €22M later on through factoring. They will receive the rest of the sum in the next 12 months.

Inter did not list Chelsea among their creditors in an official document related to their most recent bond. The Blues were present, for a total of €84.7M, until September 2021. Afterward, a factor took on the money. Therefore, the fact that the Blues’ finances have been frozen will not impact the Nerazzurri’s balance sheets.

Interesting does anybody know if we do this often when selling players? Or did we do it as a precaution in this case cause chelsea and Abrahmovic were the counterparty? If it s the second option i ll have to applaud our fucken finance team....
Ofcourse the most logical explanation would be that we do this if the transfer summ is big enough.

On lukaku man if chelsea are forced/allowed to sell assets and the dude still wants to come here we d be idiots not to try and get him back on the cheap, and with the current situation i mean fucken cheap.

Lukaku would EAT Scammacca in a 1vs1 football duell. If we compare this 2 players, Lukaku is on a diffrent level. Anyone thnking we don't need Lukaku, enjoy your Scammacca. You will be dissapointed.

I don't think about Abra risk factor.

It was probably because we wanted money right away but the deal with Chelsea had installments. So we pay small fee to bank etc who takes our credit position or how you call it and pay the money to us right away.

Interesting part is why did we need the money right away.

Has anyone ever dated a girl, broken up with her, gotten back together with her, and then realized that the relationship you idealized during the initial breakup is long gone?

That will be resigning Lukaku.

If we get Lukaku for free we can safely assume Marotta arranged the war. I don't see any way around that conclusion.

I’d be strongly against making a significant financial investment in him. If he’s available on the cheap/ free— sure. It would be essentially like loaning him for a year for a massive fee. Of course Lukaku would have to accept the lower wage and be willing to start from zero. The fans will not so easily forgive him— none of this king of Milano bullshit.

In the best case, Lukaku is levels above Scamacca.

But in the worst case, I can’t see how Scamacca can go anywhere as low as Lukaku is right now. And Scamacca is also 6 years younger and on much cheaper wage.
