He doesn't have the physicality to contest like that, but he played it smart in defense already, holding the defense shape and blocking the best options for passing, hence they didn't get any direct counter to the core area of ours.
Also when he presses the timing was right, a bit more the conservative side in defense choices, but we are leading 1 goal, no need to risk it.
The most impressing part is he doesn't just try direct key forward passes every time he gets like Hakan, and doesn't over playing short and progress like Broz, like there is no tendencies of preferences, he just plays accordingly, with superb vision. Very natural playmaker.
Nothing surprising really, his biggest improvements is his defense though, and more expressing less timid.
What surprises me is Correa, playing like a real baller.
