Hmm, I'm curious. Winning the EL will get Roma into the Champions league, right? Which of the top 4 from Serie A will get the boot? 4th place?
It doesn't work that way.

the rules changed for a while periodically, but i'm pretty sure right now it just gives you a 5th slot.

So far good result for us, Roma draws Udnize, Juve are 25 minutes from a draw.

That was the case for a few years, and it gave us a nice "lol Tottenham" in 2012 when their 4th place spot was insufficient after 6th-placed Chelsea won the Champions League, but the rules adjusted back to allowing a 5th CL spot if a team from the big four countries wins the CL or EL even if their league position is worse than 4th. That 5th CL spot takes away one of the Europa League spots, so the distribution is 5/1/1 instead of 4/2/1 across the European competitions.

So, as expected. Rube on 69. +8 on Meelan, but lose h2h on the same points. If they'll get -9 that means they need to win all games. Their home match with Milan aswell.

even Juve have 6 draws and 8 defeats this season

just shows how competitive this season was except for Napoli, that demolished the league

Haha, competitive yeah but it was a clown competition between elite of the league, like whom was worse

I'm not taking away anything from Napoli's brilliant season though. They were just consistent and since they saw the chance, they took it. Because from beginning, Napoli wasn't seen as a top candidate for Scudetto.

Over the past couple of years it was Inter to lose the title. If we played majority of matches like we have been playing over the past few matches, we would certainly have two stars above our badge by now. But oh well...

I think the smaller teams showed that they can play football too. Especially Monza after the coach change.

I don't disagree on that, but top teams were rather disappointing. Inter especially, because there is quality but approach of the game was a huge fail. We didn't take every game seriously like we were supposed to. For example, there is a complete different approach from the beginning compared to the period we are now in the past few weeks.

Though if you told me that Inter is no Scudetto material, I wouldn't be that harsh, but we were definitely not that bad in paper to have commited 11 defeats in the beginning of April.

But like I said, we have managed to recover positions and situation from that disaster we have been in. It looks better now and we have good opportunities to overcome the season into something very beautiful.
