for people who like french movies and who like parigi...paris, je t'aime is worth a try.

it's a collection of short movies from different directors on paris put together..not all movies are great, but most are.

and apart of that, apparently my main man Abbas Kiarostami is working with Juliette Binoche..

(This should mean nothing to most friends here, but I hope that at least 3 or 4 people realize that it's a great thing..I have that hope! Non Mollare Mai!!)

Saw spiderman 3. The first 2 were better. Venom wasn't the real venom the one in the movie is a pussy compared to venom from the comics. And Sandman venom doesn't work. They should have used carnage.

Saw "Hot Fuzz". First hour and twenty minutes is pure pleasure. After that it kind of flips out and becomes too surreal but it's still very enjoayable.

I loved the movie references and the casting was just perfect.

Didnt bother seeing Spiderman 3, since I hated the first 2 parts. For me Spiderman is like a 12 year old kid movie. just cant stand it.

A movie I saw this week was Disturbia. Not a very original story line, but still is worth watching. Acting is pretty good, and they have a hot young actress. Worth the ten bucks, if you are in to suspense and what not.

Since we are talking about European movies, the only 2 I have watched is Malena and Dreamers. And no I am not mentioning Dreamers, cause it has exteremly excessive nudity, i loved the story line and the acting by Eva Green.
Ever since I have seen this movie, I am in love with Eva Green. For me she is the most beautiful girl in the world. She has an extremely beautiful face with an amazing body. She is seriously a girl friend material girl. HAA :heart: .

The collaboration between the 2 of them should certainly be one to watch out for. It’s hard not to have high expectations for this one.

According to her wiki page the film is titled certified copy and due to be released in 2008.

I heared of her but not him, but reading about him, I am surprised how come I didn't. It's a bit tough (but not impossible) to get Iranian films here, that one called 'taste of cherry' sounds really good!

On spiderman, I liked the first but not the second, but a third etc. is a bit too much, I mean, COME ON!

taste of cherry was a great movie..

my personal favourite of him is still Close-Up, but taste of cherry, through the olive tree and 10 are also great movies to watch.

He is also, funny enough, one of Tarantino's favourte directors.

A great film i saw the other week was Romanzo Criminale. Its in Italian (english subtitles) and its basically the Italian version of The Godfather films. Brilliant film - go and buy it

I saw that last night. I loved the first one and expected slightly more from this one. It had some great action scenes and like you said the music was top notch. Though I felt the movie ended a little too abruptly and really didnt ease the viewer into a finale. Perhaps this was the director's intention, but all the same a great movie.

go rent and watch Infernal Affairs 1, 2 and 3

i like departed because it didnt butcher the plot like most hollywood films of foreign films do

i also liked how they adjusted it to south boston

too bad the ending of the departed killed any sequels

I saw this movie 'Zodiac' the other day- and it was OK. It's about the Zodiac Killer (o rly?+) who terrored the world, during late 60's and early 70's. If you have got some bad nerves, don't watch it. You see a couple being stabbed to death, and mark my words (since I've seen quite some stabbing in movies), it's horrifying. It's long, with manyyyy lines, but it was also a horrorshow.. (from A Clockwork Orange, btw^^)

A Clockwork Orange, is another masterpiece! Kubrick made this film in 1971, and it was wayyyyy head of it's time. Great performance from Malcolm McDowell. If you don't like watching rape, then don't watch the first 15 minutes.. it's my favourite movie.

There are lots and lots of great movies- if I named all of them, I'm sure Forza-inter.com would break down, period..
