this here is exactly why you are a retard...
who the fvck cares about last season???
we are talking about performances RIGHT NOW!
Last season needs to be taken into account. To cut a player that's been performing for a long time, player A would have to be playing very poor and player B would have to be doing great for a certain period of time. You don't cut a player that has performed week in, week out because his competition has done ok the last two matches. Surely even you must understand this basic coaching principle. If Adriano had scored two goals and one assist in the last two matches then you would have a somewhat weak case anyway. Because it doesn't work that way. Players that have performed for a long time has credit, that allows them to be bad to decent for a handfull of matches before being put on the bench. You don't start someone just because he comes on in the sixteith minute and scores a goal.
right now, cruz has been shit...are you seriously denying that
right now, suazo has been shit....are you seriously denying that
right now, crespo has been average and adri just a little better because he gets more involved in plays..
Cruz has done poor, no goals no assist but he's only played 80 minutes or so. He has had one chance to score, it was a sitter and he balooned it.
Suazo has done ok. He had a good match vs Empoli, where he was involved a lot and had many good dribbles and efforts on goal. He's only played for 114 minutes. 30 of which was when being down to ten men, and ten when being 3-0 up also without any support from midfield. He hasn't had a single proper chance to score fed to him, the chances he did have were halfchances or chances he created by himself from dribbling, or taking longshots. Another thing that should be taken into account is the preseason where he was our topscorer, and where he showed his individual class vs Napoli and Manchester.
Crespo has scored one goal and given one assist in 171 minutes. He's also had some nice dribbles, and passes. I don't remember if he's missed any clear chances. I don't think so.
Adriano has played for 193 minutes, no goals and no assists. He's had some dribbles, some nice movements and passes and some decent attempts on goal. The forward who has been the most involved in play out of the four, even though there isn't a huge difference between Suazo's and Adriano's performances. He's also the player who has had by far the best and the most chances to score and has failed to do so.
Is that a fair assessment?
wtf is wrong this this assessment??
at least adriano can dribble,
can't say the same for suazo who only knows how to dive on the ground every time a defender is around him..
can't say the same for cruz, who's first touch right now is absolutely horrendous..
Dive to ground. Don't be stupid he get's tripped up because he's so fast. That has earned us lots of freekicks and yellow cards.
i said ibra was 3/10 in champions league because he PLAYED SHITE...even mancini afterwards said he was very disappointed..
I agree that Ibra was very poor in the CL. Mancini also said it's not fair to blame it all on one player, because he can't do everything by himself or something along those lines. But this isn't the match I'm referring to.
I'm talking about the first match Vs Udinese, where Ibra was voted MOM by Gazzetta, by most people on this forum, by the Interfans forum and so on. You said something like -- Wooow, one assist big deal! He kept losing the ball all the time. 3/10.
That's a weird thing to say about a player who was behind damn near every chance we had. Unless infact you give most players even lower ratings then that, which you didn't. And you will say the same, I'm sure, next time Ibra doesn't score.
suazo has been shit yet you wanna say things like "the midfield ain't helping" and "give him a chance"...well if it ain't helping suazo, it ain't helping ibra, crespo or adriano either and they all are playing miles better than him...
No, they're not. There's not much difference between Adriano, Cruz and Suazo. The difference is minimal, where Adriano has been the best, then Suazo and last Cruz.
and when i say use the big guys, its not about heading....it's about big guys who use their bodies to create havoc....crespo is tall but hardly uses his body to the same effect as ibra/adri...
Yeah I got that. I'd rather use Crespo who's a proven goalscorer against them, who has a certain credit with us for what he did last season, and who is our most in form striker after Ibra. But I wouldn't mind seeing Suazo start, not only because his speed would hurt Roma's defence, but also for the fact that he's one of the best overall players we have, and he's being underappreciated at the moment.
