haha, that crossed my mind as well. If they park the bus, cop an early goal or two they'll start feeling the pressure

Gosh, it's been a while since i visited this forum.!

I just wanted to tell all Inter fans everywhere, to not feel like we lost everything because we did not. What happened is the past .. To be honest, this is the worst week inter had for a long time. I think we should not be too optimistic that we can beat schalke 4-0 or 5-1 or even 6-3, because if we didn't then well just go crazy .. We should clear our minds and forget about the champions league. And concentrate on the Serie A games we have left. IMO, I would not be too angry if we didnt go to semi finals, but what will KILL me is losing the serie a! AND TO MILAN. we should just concrentrate more on what serie A matches we have left and HOPE that milan lose a couple of points along the way! ... we still have a good chance of winning the serie A .. and if we do we will create history of the amount of consecutive serie a titles ! this is more important to me !

i believe that they must have thought they have won the tie. They will play defensively, very defensive. But we should never give up. Remember Arsenal how they thought they have won the tie after the home game? They became disorganised after Messi scored. If we could score at least 2 before the half time, we could survive the tie again.

Yes, NO one has ever done it before and only 2 teams have ever overturned the tie after losing the home game. But, history is there for us to write. If no one has ever written it, why don't we become the first to write it?

We are indeed Pazza Inter but this is a number too big that even our "pazzaness" wouldn't help here. It's over. Even a 2-2 draw would have been some fucked up shit, let alone 2-5 loss :palm:

If I had the choice I would have forfeited the 2nd leg out of self respect & not played at all.

Remember in 08/09 when Nelson Rivas, the ancestor/forefather of Chivu caused us to lose 3-0 at the Luigi Ferraris to Sampdoria in the Coppa Italia semi final? We had to get that crazy result to qualify for the final, but in the end, we won the second leg 1-0 and were eliminated 3-1 on aggregate. I also remember when we lost 6-2 at the Olimpico to Roma in 06/07 in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi final and then only managed to win 2-1 at home, and were of course eliminated.

This is kinda like those times. But far, far harder. The onus is on us (get it?) to achieve something fucking nuts. We would have to win by a FOUR goal margin. 0-4, as Schalke's name suggests. In those previous matches, it was always billed and advertised and hyped up as Inters MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, 'we must score x amount of goals to qualify'. A win was obvious, the only question was whether we could overcome such a huge deficit. We almost made a fun game out of it. Sadly now, the win is by no means obvious. I wouldn't even be surprised if we got fucked again in Schalkeland or wherever these fools are from.

This average, mid-table team came to our home, raped us, took a shit on our floor, lit our house on fire, then left, all the while laughing in the process. If we have any pride left, our players should be furious. I want to see that motivation in them come the return leg.

I agree completely. If you had said to me before the match that we would draw 2-2, I would have been furious. I would have told you to fuck off because a 2-2 draw, at home, to a team coming 10th in their shitty league would have been completely unacceptable.

Man.. I thought the 5th goal wasn't even allowed. Our players AND their players weren't running, or even fucking walking, but just STANDING there.

I swear to God, I am not exaggerating at all. The play was so poor and stagnant and there was such little care as to what happened, that until I saw the scoreboard change to 2-5 :palm: I honestly believed their goal was like one of those offside goals where the ref blows his whistle but the attacker hasn't noticed, and the defending team doesn't bother moving because they know the whistle's been blown already.

That for me was the saddest and most surreal point of the match.

Exactly!!! I get to like you more & more ma man. Where have you been all this time? We should get together sometime & design some shit :D

That aside... let's not forget the fact that Schalke is a mid-table team just now. From the beginning of the season up to a few weeks ago they have been a relegation candidate!!! See how fucked up shit is?! It's unimaginable...

Haha jokes aside, yes, this match was one of the most fucked up things I've seen in a long time.. And I watched Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull recently. ><

We should design an inter jersey. Show those fuckers how it's done ;)

YES, WE CAN.

Yes, there is'nt a big chance we'll get through the semi-finals, but until it will end, everything is open. There's a chance they will rape us again, but there's also a chance that we'll rape them and will make the biggest comeback.

We should fight this game until the end, close them down and play all-attack and hope for the best.

We also can play with Coutinho instead of Pandev and Motta instead of Cuchu.

FORZA INTER!!!!!

i will maybe sound funny but I still believe we could qualify, you really never know how things can be in the future........and i really hope so too

You are right. MIracles do happen. Heck, we have had a miracle happen to us in the CL this year already! Pandev scoring the winning goal against Bayern , that was a miracle and not because we scored but because PANDEV WAS THE ONE WHO SCORED:lol::D

I BELIEVE! I DO BELIEVE!. RIGHT NOW SCHALKE THINK THAT THEY HAVE IT IN THE BAG AND BECAUSE OF THAT LINE OF THOUGHT, WE WILL PULL THROUGH. JUST YOU WAIT AND SEE.

Bayern had a one goal advantage over us. Schalke beat us 2-5. What we need is beyond a miracle.

We would need the ref to give us 10 penalties and send off 3 Schalke players in the process :palm: but then again, we are not juventus.

:howler:

Sure we can score 4 goals, but at the same time Schalke will score 8...

Jokes aside, Moratti, Leonardo, everyone is saying the team is suffering from fatigue (awful and ridiculous excuse obviously), but the return game is a good chance to get some rest for players like Eto'o and sneijder who have looked exhausted. The majority of the first team should be rested so they are in better shape for the last 6 serie a games, its crucial we get 3rd spot so we dont have to play a qualifying game to get into the cl.

Backups and youngsters for the return game, play it casually without risking any injuries, its a meaningless game and it would be a massive mistake to go out and give all when you have important serie a games comming up.
