Defeats the point of FFP. This is like saying City can spend as much as they want as they have owner who is fully loaded and FFP shouldn't be in place.

Sponsorship should be according to market fair price. Emirates and Allianz Arena gets 1/5th of what City gets for Stadium sponsor. That itself tells this deal is very fishy. And shirt sponsor increased from 4Million to 20 Million.. WTF has city achieved to get those kind of sponsor deals..

Its simple, City owner will pay for Etihad. And also this company has never recorded a profit in its existence..

Sorry but if you think a relatively new Airline makes profits then you need to check your economics.. :D I'm not saying what they did is fair but its not their fault if UEFA has kept a loophole. Man City are owned by the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, doesnt matter what half brother this and that do. Abu Dhabi Investment Council is a government body as far as I know.

Man City are not at all to blame for this, the retards at UEFA/FIFA are responsible, completely.

Exactly, i dont think there is any issue here to be honest. UEFA and FIFA are a joke to anything that can be classified as an organization and they should look at themselves first instead of looking into shit that doesnt mean shit.

Its obvious that they are pouring money into Man city through questionable methods but they arent illegal otherwrise they wouldnt have done it and the english FA would have rejected it, thats what i think anyways.

Also alot of companies and clubs arent making any profit, doesnt matter if Etihad never made a profit, they will in the long run eventually.

Well I'm very poor in Economics/Finance. I admit that :)

Point is there is no point in having FFP if these sort of retarded deals happen. And also this should pass UEFA FFP. I guess UEFA will look into this as this makes them look like fools and also Platini will become laughing stock for failing to implement FFP.

In Short Sheik owns the Govt :p

To me this Manc incident is the same as how English clubs poach youngsters from Italian and other clubs. Again, something in the rules but a blatant violation and a far bigger ethical violation than the FFP.

Maybe he was just protecting his GK, who was clearly fouled by the victim of the kick. Either way, a clumsy challenge to say the least.

Anyone see this howler by the Thailand XI keeper against Chelsea? Boswinga gets credit for one of the softest goals since Robert Green.

The poor guy is short. What can you do? That probably would have happened to me due to my short height. Robert Green's was on the floor, where there was obviously no excuses for it.

Anyways, I saw this the other day. Luckily it's just a friendly for this Wenger player.

So it was already a certain goal/blunder just when Bosingwa made that cross? Then what is he supposed to do with all the other high crosses and shots in any football match?

Monster, what you think of Smalling? Any chance he gets decent playing time, to improve in near future, or?

edit: also Rafael, Fabio and Obertan... The youngsters :)

Smalling is the real deal. 3 years back he was playing in Non league now he is playing for Manchester United and he is natural successor for Rio. For a defender he is very superb on the ball, very unlinke English defender. Physically very strong, dominates aerial battle, and very good with the ball at his feet.

For me he is the most natural footballer at United bar Rooney. In the friendly he played as a RB and there was one moment where he tured and shot the ball into the net, it was offside though, but the instinct and the finishing was superb. I can see him playing regularly for England.

Rafael was very good last season in the first half, then had a injury and Fabio took his place and never looked back. I prefer Rafael as RB though. Both are equally good, Rafael was lucky that he didn't have somone like Evra to block his way. For me he is the best RB for his age. He has kept so many big players quiet. Robinho, Bale, Ribery (Was useless and made to look like sunday league player then Rafael was sent off). He has improved very much defensively, previously he used to bomb forward at every given chance, now he has improved a lot in that area..

Fabio is very much composed than Rafael and looks more matured player. But I prefer Rafael as RB and Fabio as LB.

Obertan is a mystery. He has skill, pace but mentally fragile. Looked good in preseason but I dont have much hopes on him. He comes up with Wow moments then follows it up with WTF moments. He can do job for mid table team.

Edit: Looking forward to see how Smalling does in his second season as Evans was fucking quallity for 2 seasons. One advantage Smalling has got over Evans is Smalling is very strong physically which Evans isn't.
