Gotze has already (reportedly) turned down engaging in talks with Barcelona and Arsenal to stay at Dortmund. He has absolutely amazing ball skills and is Germany's best talent out of the bunch.

phew. News in the U.K is that Manchester United have pulled the plug on a move for Wesley Sneijder because of his wage demands. Likely he will stay now ? or will Man City move in for the kill ?

What a generation Germans have, sick players. I hope that we will one day have one of Ozil, Goetze, Muller, Sweinie, Kroos.

We could never afford those German players anyways...On the other hand, what happened to Yoann Gourcuff? He's not a bad player to consider if we sell Sneijder.

I think Sokrates was referring to their parents. Khedira being Moroccan and Oezil being Turkish.
I know thats got nothing to do with transfer criteria whatsoever.

Since Sneijder is staying, it will be either casemiro or Kucka. Only 2 weeks to go, Branca primary job for midfield is selling MAriga and Muntari and replace them with 1 CM.

What do you say about a loan of Aquilani? I'd be satisfied with that, prefer him over Kucka. he's much more creative and he does well the defensive work. And if Liverpool doesn't want loan him, he's still cheap - 6-8m euro.

aquilani is cool but jube wanted to buy him for that and liverpool said no. maybe a chivu+cash swap would be more realistic?

He is nowhere near his form in 2009. He has talent but very fragile psychologically and became also injury-prone...Plus, Lyon bought him last year 26 M€and he had a terrible year in 2010/2011. Not in the same proportions, but his situation is like Torres', since they spent a lot to get him, they are willing to give him at least one more year to perform. And like Torres, he's already injuried :troll:

Cesc is (almost) a Barca player, I'd like to buy Thiago Alcanatra. He's their 4th mf now while for us he'll be a starter. I think we can convince him come, the only problem could be Barca's demanding price.

barca will put some ridiculous buyback clause for him,,
they value him around 12-17 mil,,
pozzo wants him at sanchez transfer, but barca rejected that,,

I'd buy him for that amount, but not with a buy-back clause, we aren't Osasuna.

Dude its either buy back clause or they will potray us as villians/tyrants who arent letting their players go back to them and are making them slaves. Then make them pay 5m of the salary.

The biggest problem is not getting Barca to agree to the price, its getting Thiago to agree to play for us.

Thiago? They wouldn't sell him, he wouldn't come here, and we wouldn't pay enough to get him anyway.

He would accept come here, he wants minutes, his father always talks about that if cesc is coming, Thiago might go because he want playing time. Inter can promise him that he'll start many games with our current midlefielders, Barca can't.

First of all, his father has also said numerous times that he's happy at Barcelona and doesn't want to leave, so what he says means fuck all. Second of all, Inter can't promise him lots of playing time. He's a 20 year old who has little to no experience except in youth squads and friendlies. To suggest he'd be an immediate starter here is idiotic.

Ozil,Goetze are really good indead and Schweinsteiger is too inconstant, but all of them can be worldclass.
Muller is overrated, Kroos only strong thing is that he has an extraordinary shot.

+ Hummels and Marin

Hummels is really great, but Marin? :yao:
