Yes, but we lose/draw to the likes of Novara, Palermo, Parma or Fiorentina. We do need to step it up against the bigger teams like Napoli and Jube and Milan. They will build up and grow stronger, staying more or less the same without a gradual overhaul would be an unwise move.

Have you seen him play? I am tired of people being bummed about random players we were never realistically looking at or had a chance to sign that no one has ever seen play. I read yesterday that M'vila is rated at 20 million and Guarin is rated at 14 so M'vila is better but that person never seen him play.

Our midfield is set and has a decent rotation with Obi,Guarin and Poli. Stank just needs to be taken out of that permanently and in his place a youth player or hopefully Isla.

To me we should be raiding Italian teams not random players in the french league who are over priced. $18 million euro needs to be a winger or a striker.

I agree man but we need to be realistic its a transitional year and defense shod be a bigger priority. We wont sell Cambi, Zanetti or Deki they will be here and play a part next year more or less. We also don't have 30 million to dish on M'vilas and such caliber of players. So whats the point in adding someone like De Jong or maybe a new "Palombo" when they are not better than what we already have. That's going in Branca fuck up territory again where we do a another Santon-Jonathan deal with Poli or Obi for example. We also end up with huge squad with new Muntaris not wanting to go.

If we are in a fantasy football mode I'd sell Deki and bench Zanetti and Cambi. Bring in Banega or Sahin for deep play-making role and look at someone like Granaro or Diarra to partner them with lots of running. But that wont happen so I try to look at it from more realistic way with regards to the budget.

Also in the games you listed we lost directly form defensive fuck ups and midfield truly only didn't work when it was consisted of all old guard.

I still have reservations about paying 14M for Guarin. Has he really justified that pricetag while he was here? If it was less than 10 my opinion would be different, but I feel the money could be better spent sourcing a new CB.

Arsenal reportedly payed 22 M EUR for M'Vila. For that much money they can have him.

some rumors that inter are interested in Cheik Tioté from Newcastle. But the price is 15m euros, and United and Arsenal are also interested.

True it does look like we're somewhat on the same page. While yes they were mostly defensive fuckups, we couldn't redeem ourselves, or bring ourselves to score easily due to our midfield (Deki...) screwing up equally. And while I agree that we don't need to go for players that won't step up our game i.e. Palombo, we should somewhat get someone substantially better for our midfield (i.e. yes we should go into the market and get the likes of Banega or someone equally good).

According to iranian newspapers, Inter is interested in signing Ali Karimi whose contract will expire this summer.

Although he is 33, it would be a good signing for Inter if you ask me:
- he's the best player Iran has produced in the last 50yrs & and is currently the most capped player on international level
- he has gained valuable experience playing at Bayern München & Schalke 04
- the most important part: he won't cost Inter a penny + he will only ask for a low wage since he's already a millionaire and would probably earn more playing in arab states

+ I think Inter's offensive midfield can use an experienced backup since Alvarez is on a good way but needs at least another season to adapt

If we are going to buy 33 year old AMs who are the best in their country, we may as well buy Dwayne de Rosario....note, that's not a serious suggestion, of course I don't want Inter to buy him.

If we can get Dzagoev for nothing in January why get this guy?
