I dont know how these deals work, actually, in Brazil.

Do you negotiate with each ownership seperately to agree prices for their stakes?

Do you just need a majority approval and then any remaining minority have to accept a deal at the same price as the majority?
or what

IIRC from the Juan Jesus transfer Inter can't negotiate with the individual companies so the negotiate through Corinthians.

Have no idea, but this difficult ownership style could be simple if there is only one party with negotiating power and others simply get the percentage of the fee. But doubt anyone who owns the player would be willing to have no say in the negotiations.

from what i remember historically you negotiate the deal with all parties seperately, so you can vastly differ on player valuations. i seem to remember past cases where, say, pato's dad owned 10% of pato and gave his 10% away to faciltiate the transfer. Not sure it was Pato, but there's at least one case I can think of historically

Paulinho to Inter for €8m?
By Football Italia staff

Reports from Brazil are suggesting that Inter have done a deal for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho.

Officials from the Italian club have been in South America over the last few days and an agreement for the 23-year-old has apparently been settled.

It is understood that the Brazilian international, whose contract at Corinthians expires in 2015, will cost around €8m.

The player helped Corinthians win the Copa Libertadores this season.

José Eduardo Savoy, Braz journalist. Fcked up google translation>

Jose, your ad has been sensational.

"Paulinho play for Inter, has been fully defined. And I can repeat it."

First things first.

"The meeting was there yesterday, in a hotel in the lower part of the city of St. Paul. A prestigious hotel. It was defined as all there, mainly with the Audax which holds most of the card, or 45 % ".

Who was present at this meeting, then?

"There were virtually everybody. Piero Ausilio. Besides, there was the direct agent of Paulinho, a representative dell'Audax, one of the BMG and a man of the Corinthians, who tried to fight because the Timao not want to lose the player . But they have only 10% of the card and everything was pretty much set in favor of Inter. "

Absolutes from you, and you are not the only one in Brazil ...

"My source was at the meeting yesterday, a direct protagonist. Paulinho play for Inter.

Everyone wanting to be supersources these days. Lets all trust a brazilian journalist.

Can someone describe this player?
Of course, most of the people here - myself including - didn't never see him playing.

I don't know... dude seems like joining Inter soon & if that would be the case, all y'all are hereby strictly prohibited to open the player thread. This right has been exclusively reserved for our Korean n@#$%*, Universe, to fulfill his player-thread-opening-wish.

If I catch one of you doing that shit instead of him, I'mma get evil on yo ass. Don't try me. :work:

Other than that, good signing (if it happens to be true). Strama should hook this dude up with Cou on that midfield, put his sunglasses on & enjoy the show.

i get the impression he is the ball playing midfielder we are begging for. from what i've seen he's not very dynamic, but he's good in possession, can attack, and is a decent passer

I've only seen a couple of games from him, but he's a good midfielder with nice passing skills. Should be a very nice adition to our squad (and with low wages since he's not a superstar or something)

Talked to my friend from fcinternews, he says this:
It's too early to celebrate, the situation is too complicated. Paulinho is owned by 4 parties, two companies, Corinthians and Paulinho himself. Inter have so far managed to buy 40%, from the company named Audax. Paulinho has 5%, so that won't be a problem. We need one more party to cooperate, and it will be hard since the other company (he didn't mention it) doesn't want to sell their 45%, and neither does Corinthians. But if we managed to get one of them to sell it's part, the other will have to.

We wait and see.

Fucking Brazilian rules :palm: FOUR fucking parties own part of him..

Yea. Third party ownership is a fucking pain in the ass when attempting to sign South American players, especially those in Brazil.
