São Paulo, Santos, Inter, Corinthians, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Vasco, Fluminense, Botafogo, Grêmio, Cruzeiro, Atlético Mineiro.
None of these is more ridiculous than Casena, Novara, Lecce, Genoa, Palermo, Cagliari, Siena, Catania, Atalanta, Chievo, Bologna
Some are like Lazio, Napoli, Udinese and Fiorentina.

The Italian League is nothing but a shadow of what it used to be, so I don't think that's entirely nonsense. Juventus would still cruise but the others aren't that far off.

São Paulo reportedly rejected the Manchester United offer. I think that's a fair price and they're making a mistake. The only way I see his price going up is if they win the gold medal and at least a big title like Campeonato Brasileiro or Copa Libertadores. It's a huge gamble.

10 years of FIFSmaller clubs from Brazilian Brasileirao are comparable and are probably better than the smaller clubs from Serie A, like Lecce, Cesena, Parma, etc.
But big Italian clubs like Inter, Milan, JuBe are way ahead of top Brazilian teams. Top Brazilian teams should be more at the level of Napoli, Udinese, Lazio...

10 years of FIFJust saw some talks Lucas kinda close to ManUtd. Well, that makes me kinda happy tbh. Certainly we're not able to splash shitloads of money for an unproven talent and gamble like hell, and to mention that he's highly overpriced.
Though he's a great talent, but let some other team gamble with him. I really wish ManUtd truly signs him.

The problem is that the whole market is fucked up. I don't think he's worth 30 million euros today but I also think Palacio isn't worth 11.. In a market where an average 30 yo player is sold for 11 million euros, a 19 yo player of the same position and way more talented sure as hell deserve that price tag.

Sorry for disappointing you, but numbers don't necessarily mean quality. Lavezzi scored 9 goals and I think he's twice the player Palacio ever was.
And I mentioned talent, nothing more.
Need I remind you of São Paulo beating that Liverpool team who beat Milan in 2005 and Internacional beating Ronaldinho's Barcelona in 2006? I don't mean to compare but suggesting it's ridiculous to do so is just plain ignorant.

When I look at the Brazil league... the organisation of the teams and quality of football in tactical terms and mental aspects is far-far from Europe. This is what sets apart European top leagues and Brazilian one which could easily be on the same level as the biggest European one's, tho it seems like financially it's starting to become a reality indeed.
